Did anyone catch the look Liv gave to Gabby when they were talking about boys? Seems to me like they might try to do a story line where she falls for Gabby.

Looks like the police are still investigating Emma's death so Ross might be in the frame or we will have a who dunnit? Could have been Cain or Moira as they were both awol for a time and we didn't see how Cain found Moira.

I can't stand "quirky" Lydia. Would Liv really be drinking after her near death experience recently?

Worm Couldn't agree more, Liv was in hospital not that long ago after drinking the spiked brandy.

These soaps really need to keep better records on their character history. Maybe someone could design an algorithm that flashes up a "clash" with a previous storyline/personality trait when the writers are typing up new stuff.

Writer types: Liv, gabby and Jerry start drinking vodka in Aaron's house.

Computer: Liv left hospital only weeks ago following alcohol poisoning couple with diazepam overdose. Dumbass!

Also Gabby went missing when Emma died so yeah does look like a whodunnit.

bonfire you are right Gabby did disappear. I think Laurel was away somewhere too.

I have a couple of issues with the last episode. Aside from the nonsense of Liv getting plastered so soon after being hospitalised, which has already been pointed out!

The police officer thing at the end of the episode was bizarre, totally un-soaplike to me. You never normally see anything from the point of view of strangers in a soap - just how they interact with the regular characters.

Then there's what they said. No suicide note doesn't mean they'd do heaps more intrusive investigations. According to Wikipedia only 25-30% of suicides are accompanied by a note. Similarly the existence of a note doesn't mean they don't have to investigate at all. especially in soapland where chances are it would have been doctored

Then there's Cain. It was so out of character. He'd either not say anything even though it would be painfully obvious he's still in love with Moira (as has been the case for the past year), or he'd go and sweep Moira off her feet. There's no way he'd just admit it to Zak and then mope about Moira not wanting him.

Have these writers forgotten the characters as well as what happened to them recently?!

PS I'm sure Gabby must have the note. Maybe she's keeping it quiet because Mademma said something about her breaking in, so is scared she'll get in trouble? Can't see why else she wouldn't show it to anyone.

Unless there was suspicious evidence to suggest otherwise they are spending too much time on the investigation into Mademma suicide. Given the events that led up to it and dwindling police resources.
I also remember that ridiculous time an officer came to see rob coz someone told someone else who told someone else that he'd bribed that kid. A kid who didn't even testify in court. Over a man who was sentenced for child rape. The amount of police time given to that bribe was unrealistic too.

It's totally unthinkable that Debbie wouldn't be there for Ross. She would cut any holiday short and come straight home for this. No way would she miss it.

No that was Gabby Suffolk She said she went for a walk and then told everyone her phone battery died, and that's why that couldn't get hold of her.

Why did Adam and Moira not go to Finn's funeral seeing as he was their brother and nephew respectively. What did I miss?

Because Moira thought everyone would be asking questions and she didn't want that, And Adam thought that Pete and Ross wouldn't want him there.
