Rebecca needs to survive, unfortunately. She is the only one now that can prove it was all Lachlan's fault. Otherwise he gets away with killing his family and Robert will now doubt take the fall for kidnapping Seb with the so called consequence being the crash.

Although if Robert goes to jail the only suitable surviving relative to bring up Seb would be Victoria and she'd get her baby after all.

Gerry has the voicemail. He told on lachlan when he hid in the attic and I think he has a conscience. Also conveniently he lives with Aaron and once Aaron knows he will make sure the police will hear it.

Not sure why Robert would go to prison. He didn't cause them to crash, even if he was speeding they didn't need to speed too. There was no intent or purpose on his behalf. He just needs to say I had an argument with my ex because she was taking the baby abroad without my permission so I grabbed the baby- that's hardly a crime is it? but hey who knows with the police on Emmerdale! (And I think the producers like the idea of Robron as Romeo and Juliet, so more heattbreak?)

Gerry called Lachlan but he didn't pick up. Then in the car he called Gerry (I don't know if it was intention, Digital Spy saying Chrissie nudged him n he accidentally called it without being aware). Ended up going to voicemail so Gerry can hear all his ranting, everyone screaming at him to stop.

I think Robert will do some kind of deal with Lachlan. If he doesn't mention that Rob kidnapped Seb & they were chasing him then Rob won't mention what Lachlan did.

Thought it was so creepy when Lachlan was stood by his grandad and said "I didn't think it'd be like this!"
