I reckon the baby will be Cain’s. Didn’t she sleep with Pete and Cain around the same time? We know that no one ever uses contraception in Emmerdale and I bet she just said it was Pete’s to get Emma to help her. Surely Moria can’t be sure who’s it is? I agree it’s a shame about Finn.

Well Moira is claiming she didn't even know she was pregnant so I don't see how she could know who the father was when the two were so close together time wise.

I was wondering what Ross' manic driving was all about. Clearly diving away after pushing his mother off the viaduct!

Think ross may of pushed emma because he did start to believe what laurel was saying ages ago about emma killing james but at the very least witnessed it anyway and maybe just felt guilty because of pete saying he wished one of them was there and ross was

JaneJeffer, this is puzzling me too. Does anyone have any idea where the note has gone? Has Gabby got it, if she has why would she want it

I thought the scenes with Eric and Tracey reacting to hearing about Finn's death and talking about him the day after were really well-acted. I was in pieces when I read the note Eric wrote about him in last night's episode

Yes, I agree Tracy and Eric's parts were well acted. Victoria on the other hand could she really not summon up even a teensy bit of emotion? I mean, she was right in the thick of things and all she managed was wooden lines and a few raised eyebrows. Why oh why is she still in the program. She's AWFUL!

I want to know what happened to the note too, and Gabby disappearing off for a bit was suspicious too.... though I doubt she'd have made it to the hotten viaduct and back without people getting a bit worried about her whereabouts (though it is soapland and anything can be construed to make a story it seems)

Such a good story overall, but dragging it out, a bazillion plot holes and a confused ending have dulled it's impact in my opinion

The man who acts Eric does an exceptionally good wobbly lip crying face. Sets me right off every time.

The Eric character is such a complete transformation from his pre Val days. He used to be such a hateful man full of petty rage. He was horrible. Val did the whole village a favour with him!

I love Eric now btw. Just thought I'd make that clear.

TheJunctionBaby - I agree, the fact that this story line never ends and the way we are all left confused has dulled its impact. I really wish they would just wrap it up now. I need to know 2 things: where is Emma's note? and did Gabby make a copy of the memory stick? if she didn't the family have lost those recordings of Ashley again.

I don't think Ross did it at all. I think he just saw her car and found her there. His reactions when the police told them both seemed genuine to me.

Agree Eric and Tracey were great.

Cain needs to go in and talk to Moira. She clearly only said it was Pete's baby because she thought that was the best way to get Mademma to help her.

They can't run another storyline of don't know which bloke is the father and will string along the wrong one until there's a medical condition that makes it clear it was the other's all along . They've done that already with Vanessa.

I don't think Cain will let it go without asking if the baby is his.
