I can't seem to make the itv hub play the Emmerdale episode. V annoying - have just come to bed Roger some time to watch it in peace but no. Stupid app refusing to work.

I just watched it on ITV Hub and enjoyed it in a strange way. Beats the "lets kill all our characters" that soaps seem to like to save up for Christmas.
Although the episode highlighted how Ryan Hawley and Danny Miller are the only ones who can act.

I've tried it on dailymotion too this morning and that's also refusing to work for me. Maybe it's been inundated with lots of people trying to access it and it'll be better in a couple of days.

ANY episode that’s got nauseatingly precocious stage school brat “Amelia” in it is ruined IMO.

Got there in the end, thanks to the failsafe method of shutting down and rebooting!

Quite liked the episode but not the ending. Can't believe after all this time they're stopping Robert and Aaron getting back together. Would have been nice to have a positive story for once.

I loved it. They were brave to do something so different. Ryan Hawley is just brilliant.

Trouble is Raffles, I love them too am slightly obsessed so then I can't resist finding out things, so I can't have the emotional response to certain events as in the back of my mind I know things

There's a Robron Tumblr called 'Ryan Hawley's thighs' I was thinking she'd be in heaven yesterday, there was a lot of them on show

I missed the end of it (post dinner snooze)

Am I correct in guessing no-one died? (I was trying to outguess them that Robert had in fact been killed by Lawrence and he was just imagining it all)

Loved the colour change duvet cover but no idea what it was all about.
Is it worth a rewatch or shall I just chalk it up?

I didn't really enjoy it, I actually thought it was going to be something completely different and certain characters were going to be a gonner, it really needs to get better, it was so brilliant for a long time but the last few months haven't been great.

Ryan Hawley is a great actor and I think he will move on to other dramas soon enough.

Also I'm quite sick of Aarons crying, I love him but I want the tears to stop.

I hope Victoria does go.

I'd just chalk it up 70s, he was dreaming different scenarios when he was unconscious and it was all about how nasty he had been.

Oh but I did love Val turning up, she was great and I was sad she left.

Oh yes, I was glad they brought back Val. She was always great!

Just watched it again on the Hub as was cooking dinner last night so couldn’t really watch fully.

The scene at the end had me sniffling!

Don’t think it was the greatest Christmas episode ever - and the Dingles family get togethers really get on my nerves 😡 - but some great scenes from Ryan and Danny.

Aaron and Robert are MEANT to be together as are Moira and Cain!

I wish they'd make even the slightest attempt of portraying Alex as more than a one dimensional plot device. Their whole relationship is about Aaron and his needs, nothing shared about Alex's life at all.

Maybe that's the point bonfire? To show that there's only one equally matched relationship he can have

Maybe but he doesn't come across as someone you as a viewer can feel anything for. He's just too perfect. Aaron is constantly pushing him away and he's still there hands in his pockets with his floppy hair. Maybe it's just that I wanted to see the end of Robron for a while but they've gone straight into a new relationship for Aaron which it's obvious isn't going anywhere.

I know what you mean bonfire, I did cringe yesterday when Aaron said to Alex (I think) 'Why wouldn't I like you? You're fit for a start' . So he's fit. What else is there to like about him? We're not told. I think they don't want us to like Alex too much, so he ends up being nothing. Except a mirror maybe. Rob had his revelations, maybe Alex is parts of Aarons same process. I wonder how they will split them up, if they do?

I have so lost the will with Emmerdale that when Chrissie was going shopping (in the sales, I'm guessing Leeds? ) I thought "Where the Jeff will she get parked "? and was relieved to hear a taxi .
