The Leftovers finale

Has anyone seen all 3 series of The Leftovers and want to chat?!
I absolutely loved this series- everything about it. I felt season 1 was good but 2 & 3 were phenomenal. Amazing acting and totally unpredictable.

So do you think Nora was telling the truth about what happened? Why wouldn’t you go and see your kids?!!

Some episodes of series 3 were bonkers, like the weird love boat episode! But I liked the final one. Kind of pulled it together.

I know! I mean if you had gone through all that why not see your children when you had the chance? I did think she was telling the truth though, I don't think she would have freaked out at the last minute inside that machine as her character was pretty resilient all the way through.

How scary was the machine though?

Also I was wondering why Kevin saw that lady (grace?) children in his weird death 'dream' if they had departed.

Such a great series though. I think a lot of the supernatural stuff - Kevin as the Messiah and immortal etc - was just kind secondary to the main story of how people cope with loss.

Also Laurie - so she didn't kill herself scuba diving?!

@rosybell Grace's children didn't actually depart. She had gone out and left them at home then when the departure happened they went out walking to find her. When she returned home to find them gone she assumed they had departed so didn't try looking for them. The children then all ended up dying either of exposure or snake bites, I can't remember. When their bodies were found they weren't wearing their shoes so she wanted Kevin to ask them why.

Oh and I assumed Laurie changed her mind about killing herself when she got the phone call from Jill but it was quite confusing!

Ah yes that true re Graces children. Yes I'm pleased Laurie decided not to kill herself after all.
