Do you allow your 10 years old to watch CSI?

Just wondering if you do. I only have a 4 years old and although I regularly watch the program it seems too much for a child (I imagine). The reason I'm asking the question is because I found a CSI head reconstruction toy suitable from 10 years old.

Are ten years old very much into crime and murders nowadays?

My oldest is almost 8, so I'm not there yet, but I can't see myslef letting her watch CSI when she is 10

I wouldn't let a child of ten watch it

eww it's far too gory

think some of the CSI dvds are rated 15

It get's even "gorier" you can choose from a female or male head!

I thought it was too much but also that I might be getting old and things are quite different from what they used to be.

Although I still find the idea of a 15 years old spending her time reconstructing faces a bit weird

I wouldn't let a 10yr old watch CSI, but I wouldn't say the toys on that link are gory.

DS1(9) is fascinated by facial reconstruction, from watching archaeology programs not CSI.
