Does anyone watch this? I love David Mitchell and really like a few others in the cast (the girl who plays his daughter who was in the Caitlin Moran thing) so I really want to like this. But it's a bit balls isn't it?

Just too much childish language. Bits remind me on Blackadder in tone (obviously due to Ben E) but with none of the wit or cleverness. It's just cheap.

I really like it! I watched the first series too. Yes it is a bit 'Blackadder' but I enjoyed that too. I think the plots, sub plots and one liners are written quite cleverly, ok there's a bit of smut but it is one programmes which makes me smile, even titter but I refuse to admit a lol.

I really like it.

Makes me and DP laugh out loud. I love the way they’re working the plots and words of the plays into the action. I enjoy Yara Greyjoy Kate giving a more contemporary feminist view, and the send up of modern fans trying to twist the misogyny of the Shrew into enlightened irony.

Agree OP, it’s everything I should like, but it’s a bit balls.

I love it. I think the support cast are fabulous and David M makes me laugh just in his outfit.
