Is there a thread on this already? Anyone else watching?

I've just caught up with the first three episodes today.
I'm feeling a bit disappointed tbh, for a programme with only 11 episodes I would have expected a bit more by episode 3, but it just seems to be a lot of Sarah Paulson getting hysterical.

I don't get this series so far at all. Much preferred Roanoke

I haven’t seen Roanoke but did see all the others on Netflix. It’s just not the same without Jessica Lange IMO.

But yeah that is what DP was saying the other night, 3 episodes in an not much has happened so far.

The psychiatrist has to be in on it doesn’t he!

What is up with AHS?

I absolutely adored Murder House. Watched it in a few days.
Was desperately excited to watch Asylum and I found it unwatchable. I tried and restarted it a few times but could never get past the first few episodes.
Coven and Freak Show were amazing - think I've watched both twice.
Hotel was like Asylum - I tried and tried. Couldn't finish it. Terrible.
Roanoke - tried.

Shit.

Waiting for Cult to appear on Netflix. PLEASE tell me good things.

Just doesn't engage me. Am gutted to be fair as was excited for the new season

I kinda fell off the AHS wagon on freak show but this theme intrigued me I like it and think it sums up some of the mentality and hysteria of the election well, also I have a theory about the psychiatrist/ clowns representing the media

I fell out of interest with Roanoke last year watching it ‘live’, but a few weeks ago watched it in one go and it was much better.

I this series is one of the best so far!

It's made more terrifying as there is no supernatural element (yet). It's all people. People warped so far by their politics and fears that they can no longer see beyond their own little bubble and condemn anyone with the slightest difference in opinion.

It portrays what happens if we accept extremism. It's a masterful representation of what real people are genuinely becoming, and how someone like Trump got elected.

I cannot wait for the next episode!

The latest episode was brilliant I’d say from my (limited) viewing seeing up to midway through freakshow it’s one of my favourites if not favourite. Loving Kai and Winter, not sure if can post spoilers but the new found background to ivy and winter is really interesting regarding Ally. And looking back the attention to detail to other episodes like Gary when Ally goes into the shop in the first episode is really cool
