They've got some "top" dentist (who I'm sure is very good) fixing a girl's teeth, but the dentist's teeth look really fake - wouldn't that put you off?

I presume she's got veneers but they're way too white.

£15,000 to fix this girls teeth though

Just switched over now. Thanks

Do these people never brush their teeth though? I know they've not been to the dentist for years but really this is major tooth abuse!

Obviously the bulimic girl is different.

Exactly. A person can never go to the dentist but providing they watch there diet and brush properly and regularly there teeth can be in very good condition.

ComeOVeneer · 04/04/2007 21:26

It amazes me how people can spend so much time and effort on there appearance - hair, clothes, nails, makeup then totally neglect their teeth.

shonaspurtle · 04/04/2007 21:39

That tartar build up behind her front teeth - would that happen to someone who had ever brushed there?

It can build up quite rapidly, varies with peop[le. But once a small amount has developed, the rough surface is harder to clean and more builds up quite rapidly.

ComeOVeneer · 04/04/2007 21:43

YUck, nothing worse that patients having a fag just before they come in to be treated hate it.

PelvicfloornomoreChocolate · 04/04/2007 21:45

Am watching this.
Really makes me worry about dp's teeth,he is very phobic and hasn't been seen by a dentist for about 17 years

ComeOVeneer · 04/04/2007 21:47

But does he care for them, good diet, cleaning etc. Dentists can repir damage and do cosmetic treatment but it is what you do on a day to day basis rather than how frequently you visit the dentist that is the important factor in the state of your teeth.

PelvicfloornomoreChocolate · 04/04/2007 22:04

yES HE CLEANS THEM REGULARY...oops caps!
He does have crooked teeth though due to an accident years ago and one brown dead tooth.
He honestly would faint if he sat in the chair.

God this programme made me squirm! I LOATHE the dentist but fear toothache and bad breath more! I missed the begining - what happened to the brother and sister to make them so phobic?
