Will be in Netflix from 3 November - can't wait!

Can it be as good as The Handmaid's Tale? I hope so.

That's annoying.
I'm sure it will be really good and I shall enjoy it.
But the plan was that we were only going to get Netflix for the free trial month and just binge-watch the things we wanted to see then cancel. We didn't manage to get it all watched so have paid for September too while we catch the last few episodes. Now they are going to start releasing more good stuff just to keep me paying. hmphf. This is unreasonable.

PerkingFaintly · 18/09/2017 09:38

Oh my word, thank you for the heads up.

WhattheChuff · 18/09/2017 09:43

Oo, marvellous. Thanks! Loved the book.

Andylion · 17/10/2017 23:21

I've started watching this and it is really good, three episodes in.

I watching it on the CBC, in Canada. I've read that it will be on Netflix in November but I don't know which countries' Netflix that refers to. Keep an eye out.

SchadenfreudePersonified · 18/10/2017 20:23

Book is GREAT!

Flomper · 18/10/2017 20:40

Yaaaaay

HelloMist · 02/11/2017 10:41

Bump, excited to see this tomorrow. Smile

FlexTimeCheekyFucker · 02/11/2017 23:26

Trying to download this on my Kindle to read before watching on Netflix but encountering some technical issues. Grrr. Is it a long one or short like Handmaid's Tale?

Elendon · 03/11/2017 15:51

The book is my favourite top ten books I've read. Thanks for the hat tip. Will now join Netflix.

Elendon · 03/11/2017 16:04

The book is a long book, but you will be gripped.

FlexTimeCheekyFucker · 03/11/2017 16:20

I've got it now. Looking forward to it.

bonbonours · 03/11/2017 19:11

I'd never heard of this but now got the book and llooking forward to watching it too.

Cherrypi · 03/11/2017 19:18

Ooh thanks for telling us.

Nellyphants · 03/11/2017 19:25

One of my favourite Margaret atwood's, all the more interesting as it's based on a true story. I thought the did she or didn't she was done so well.

CourtneyLoveIsMySpiritAnimal · 04/11/2017 12:10

I’ve started watching it and it’s really good. ‘Enjoying’ it as much as you can with the sort of thing.

Only bugbear really is the way/how it’s been filmed. It’s got a kind of soft focus look that’s reminiscent of a Channel 5 afternoon movie Confused

whatwoulddexterdo · 04/11/2017 20:48

I think it's very very slow, really want to like it though

IfYoureHappyAndYouKnowIt · 05/11/2017 09:23

Desperate to see this. Has anyone found it on the Internet?

Andylion · 05/11/2017 16:37

Happy, it’s likely blocked if you’re outside Canada, but give this a try.

AnyFucker · 05/11/2017 16:39

Gonna give this a go tonight. Can't wait. I need something new after finishing Ozark.

Elendon · 06/11/2017 10:03

I liked it. I had some disappointments, will not say because it would be a spoiler, but I found it very original to the book and overall it was worth watching.

You can sign up to Nexflix and get it free for a month, then cancel. Personally, I think a tenner a month whilst on freeview is worth it for the extra - prices start from a fiver a month on Netflix.

I also watched Mindhunter as well.

IfYoureHappyAndYouKnowIt · 06/11/2017 19:09

Thanks for the link. It is blocked in the UK. I might have to go down the Netflix route then.

badbadhusky · 07/11/2017 22:49

I’m up to ep3 and really enjoying it. I love the pacing.

Anyone who is stuck for something to watch, Wanted on Netflix was fantastic. 2 seasons of 6 eps, female-led Aussie thriller. Highly recommended.
