Anyone else think Claire in Corrie is ever so slightly neurotic?

Ok, so she's had PND, severely. I've suffered myself, and know how demoralising it can be, but really, last night's episode -what were the scriptwriters thinking? They made her look ridiculous. Okay, so Joshua bumped his head by falling off the bed. He's hardly a delicate little thing though. Mine have done that numerous times, and I haven't gone charging up to A&E. Who really does that if it's a seemingly not serious bump.

And as for her going into meltdown when she got back and Casey had left the house with Freddie. What's the deal with Casey? I know Claire was counselling her so is she a bit bonkers? But anyway, Claire trusted her enough to leave Freddie with her, and you can be in A&E for hours, so Casey may well have gone for a walk/drive with the baby.

I honestly just thought it was ridiculous.

She is a very annoying character. Maybe brought in as a "sensible" antidote to the flightier young women in the cast like Maria. But so bloody sanctimonious and far too "sensible" by half.
What happened last night then? I missed it.

She talks funny - like she's got a mouthful of food.

Yes - odd character (remember the glasses she wore for a while??eeek), but then Ashley is odd too isn't he?

LucyJo, Josh was jumping on the bed, and fell off and bumped his head, nothing serious, Claire brought him downstairs and he was fine, but she decided to rush him to A&E like a mad woman. Casey was in the house at the time, and Claire asked Casey to look after Freddie. When Claire got back, Casey and Freddie weren't in the house and Claire couldn't reach Casey on her mobile, and she just completeley lost it and after a bit called the police to report Freddie missing. Casey turned up and said that Freddie was crying so she'd taken him for a drive. Naturally Casey was horrified and left the house with Claire later feeling all remorseful. Really silly I thought.

Thanks. Yes, that sounds neurotic to me.
