I think I spent too much time texting when I watched series 1 the first time because it went over my head how absolutely savage it was! like a Mumsnet/Relationships thread in full techni-colour

the dinner party was peak seat squirming and the aftermath was devastating... particularly for me as the highly emotional and protective mum of 1 son!

has anyone else rewatched on Iplayer in preparation for next week? I can't wait!

I'm watching series 1 for the first time atm. For various reasons, I have to watch it on silent so in my head all I hear are MNers virtually shrieking things at Gemma. It is very enjoyable in a cringy sort of way.

Watched the first series and thought it was awful. Decicded to give it another go last night as everyone was raving about it.

Haven't changed my mind. It's beyond farcical. I really don't like Suranne jones and think She's a poor actress. Won't be tuning in next week!

Jeez. The first episode of the first series scared the life out of me so I stopped watching and this new series is having the same effect.
