What do you reckon the verdict will be???

OP posts:

I reckon she will get off with a not guilty verdict. But as she is leaving in real life, I can only assume Ken & Deidre will kick her out for good. Someone mentioned Ken moves out of the house in disgust of Deidre lying for her daughter. So that's another story.

Guilty

Oblomov · 02/04/2007 14:04

We all know she is guilty. But like mumtogirls says, based on the fact that we know Ken moves out, PLUS, now that her lawyer knows - it would just be Tracy, that people knew she was guilty, but she got off with it - I predict that she gets off with it.

not guilty I recon. Too boring and cit and dry to be guilty. Not guilty provides loads of future story lines.

themoon66 · 02/04/2007 14:14

Was there some mention earlier that the high flying lady lawyer Tracy insisted on having was going to have to be paid for, rather than legal aided?

Perhaps the Barlows will lose their house if this is the case.

3xamum · 02/04/2007 14:18

I'm going for not guilty, as my guess is that corrie bosses will try & lure Kate Ford back in the future and it will be easier on storylines if she's not banged up for life.

ProfYaffle · 02/04/2007 16:52

I think not guilty tonight but she will get caught for it in the end, soaps are moral like that. There's a satisfying parallel with Deidre's prison career as well, she was imprisoned by a miscarriage of justice and Tracy freed by one.

I'm sure I read somewhere that Ken and Deidre kick her out but take Amy off her.

HotCrossPenguin · 02/04/2007 16:55

erm, if she's leaving in RL then I assume she'll be found guilty. The evidence has been stacking up against her, so in a RL court case the same, surely the defendant wouldn't walk? Looking forward to Corrie tonight.

ProfYaffle · 02/04/2007 17:24

Oh, I missed that she's leaving in rl. K&D kicking her out would tie in with that though.

EnormousChangesAtTheLastMinute · 02/04/2007 20:27

i read they filmed two endings. i'd like a guilty verdict myself... but i guess a not guilty has more dramatic potential.

WelshBoris · 02/04/2007 20:36

GUILTY

brandy7 · 02/04/2007 20:37

i thought theyd string it out till 8.55

sibble · 02/04/2007 20:43

OK I hate these threads, I'm in NZ and Mike Baldwin only died the other week!!!but now I've read it put me out of my misery, what's Tracy done this time.

TinyGang · 02/04/2007 20:48

Amy doesn't stand much hope does she?

Lets see now...

Tracey - prison
Grandma Deidre - she's been inside
Dad Steve - he's been inside
Grandad Jim (Steve's dad) - he's inside

mistressmiggins · 02/04/2007 20:56

why is Ken moving out?
I dont like Deidre BUT I do wish that sometimes soap characters could stay married

HotCrossPenguin · 02/04/2007 21:07

LOL Tinygang! Fast forward 15 - 20 years and there's bound to be a storyline where Amy gets banged up for summat. Oh, and Grandma Liz is a trollop.

HotCrossPenguin · 02/04/2007 21:08

What was Steve inside for? And Jim? That's too far ago for me to remember.

EnormousChangesAtTheLastMinute · 02/04/2007 21:09

she'll be fingerprinted at school under blair's new rules.

TinyGang · 02/04/2007 21:24

Gosh I can't remember the details either now HotXPenguin. I was probably riveted at the time!

SpookyMadBunny · 02/04/2007 21:42

I think Jim was in for killing Jez Quigley?

EnormousChangesAtTheLastMinute · 02/04/2007 22:02

yes, i think you're right about jim. can't recall why steve was in prison - it was ages ago i think...

Moomin · 02/04/2007 22:20

Noooooooooo, Jim was put away for manslaughter - pushing a bloke off a scaffold. Jez Quigley was after all that. Steve was in prison for erm.... I want to say fraud... was it summat to do with Vicky, Alec's daughter that he was married to when they were both 12 and a half?

somersetmum · 02/04/2007 22:24

Jim pushed Jez Quigley over the banistairs in the houses they were going to renovate.

franke · 02/04/2007 22:25

According to the Corry bit on itv.com, Steve was in for smuggling whiskey or summat.
