Frustrated I haven't seen that one yet, is it any good?
I love Melissa and Joey, They are in a film together too, can't remember the name of it though!
I Love Wendy's (Beverley) character in Bridesmaids too.

Can't stand Melissa and Joey. Not on the same level at all imo.

MusicToMyEars800 · 25/08/2017 11:08

I have a bit of a soft spot for it, I spent many a days as a teen watching Sabrina the teenage witch Grin

InigoTaran · 25/08/2017 11:26

Have you seen Joey Lawrence as a teen pop star? He was cute!!!

Circumlocutor · 25/08/2017 11:27

I was there at the time.

MusicToMyEars800 · 25/08/2017 22:02

Inigo I know Grin
I am a bit 80's obsessed, grew up in the 90's though.

RipMacWinkle · 25/08/2017 22:11

Big love for the Goldbergs in this house too. We're all huge fans

InigoTaran · 25/08/2017 23:42

I'm surprised Blackish doesn't get more love on here. Maybe pp think if they're not black it's not relevant to them But it's so spot on on so many issues about middle class family life!

FrustratedTeddyLamp · 26/08/2017 00:19

I've watched it a bit it has its moments and tackles a few things in a good way but I've never found myself wanting to binge it or make time to watch it IYSWIM

FrustratedTeddyLamp · 26/08/2017 00:19

Also Baby Daddy got cancelled so they could produce Collegeish the spin off Angry

MusicToMyEars800 · 26/08/2017 20:42

Teddy So there won't be another series with Riley and Danny being parents? I love that show, Emma is so cute and Bonnie makes me laugh!

I like Blackish, I agree that it's not one I would binge watch though.

I binge on the Goldbergs every Saturday Grin
I miss the re runs of Charmed they were playing on E4 too, it's another one of my favs and one I can watch over and over again.

OP posts:
FrustratedTeddyLamp · 26/08/2017 20:49

Nope it was "on the bubble" but I think the US channel Blackish is on passed on the spin off as it's expensive so Freeform (formally ABC family) invested in it as blackish is popular. It's unfortunate as it's one of my favourite shows and I don't think that was a good ending.

Charmed is on Netflix I rewatched it a. Few months ago but I watched it when I was probably far too young to and then after it finished I remember coming back from school and rewatching them as my mum watched them daily. I'd hate to think how many I saw the first season episode when the witches turned to animals or prue nearly jumping off the bridge

MusicToMyEars800 · 26/08/2017 21:15

Teddy I've probably watched every season of Charmed at least 5 times Grin I love it, one of my fav seasons it when Cole and Phoebe get together I may have had a major crush on Cole Grin I liked Prue but actually preferred it when Paige came into the show!

Which was the last episode of Baby Daddy? was it the one where Riley gives birth?

OP posts:
FrustratedTeddyLamp · 26/08/2017 21:21

Yeah I really enjoyed the cole episodes, and me and my mum agree it got better with Paige more lighthearted, enjoyed the Chris season but one with Kaley Cuoco I think fell flat somewhat. But strange to think only 1-2 years between her doing 8 simple rules -> charmed -> Big Bang Theory.

Yeah it just felt rushed, no insight into Danny and Riley becoming parents, I don't remember them getting married so no insight into that and then what happened with Ben and Liz? Just for a start, one delivery room meet up isn't an ending

MusicToMyEars800 · 26/08/2017 21:34

Yes I agree with you, it was like an unfinished last episode Hmm I also found The Billie and Christie episodes of charmed annoying, but I'm glad Billie saw sense, I actually got all teary on the last episode of Charmed I was the same with Friends.
I was annoyed with Melissa and Joey ending too, I don't even think we got to see Mel go into labour??

OP posts:
MusicToMyEars800 · 26/08/2017 21:35

I loved 8 simple rules too Grin

OP posts:
FrustratedTeddyLamp · 26/08/2017 22:27

Nope, she found out she was having twins, decided to still run for congress, Lennox ( who btw is in Kevin can wait) decides to get engaged to Zander ( if that's how you spell it) and Ryder gets stationed not too far away in the navy, joe gets his book sold and will go on tour. With Melissa and Joey I didn't really like the Halloween, and Christmas type specials that didn't follow the timeline, also when Ryder got cast into Jurassic world and made only sporadic appearances, but I still love it

MusicToMyEars800 · 26/08/2017 22:39

I agree with the Special episodes, though I did like the Halloween homage ( think that's the word ) to Sabrina the teenage witch they did for the Halloween one.
The Actor who plays Ryder is in that new film Everything everything.
I watched all of Melissa and Joey and really enjoyed it, I quite like Melissa Joan Hart as an actress, I also like that they kept their own names but shortened for the characters.
Teddy You seem to love tv shows as much as me Grin
What other tv shows do you like/love?

OP posts:
FrustratedTeddyLamp · 26/08/2017 22:59

Yeah that was awesome and I believe she directed that episode herself! Yeah life I said previously Melissa and Joey is somewhat special to me because of my anxiety stopping me sleeping and it relaxed me plus when it aired In the us was a day I had to go out and was anxious so it was something to look forward to at night to relax.

Did you watch the Movie they made together called my fake fiancé ?

I do like a lot of different TV programmes I'd say probably more sitcoms but some I like/ love:

Hold tight I have a feeling this post will be loong:

Friends
I didn't actually get into it until a couple years ago when it went to Comedy Central, but watched the finale when it aired! Looking back I think it was pretty much a blue print for the successful sitcoms since then and that's a good thing it had great chemistry and many memorable moments, I can't think of any sitcoms recently that have had as many quotable lines or moments.

Charmed
We've covered that, although do you know they're trying to bring it back

The Goldbergs
Interestingly do you know in real life he doesn't have a sister? It's really cool how they also add people from his real past into the show as well as the home videos

Melissa and Joey
😍😍😍😍😍

The Walking Dead

I have to catch up on the last series I watched a few to see what happened with Lucille but it's a little repetitive I need to binge it not every week.but from what I've seen there are 3 communities so it is different.

Him and Her

I like that it's pretty dark in that the humour isn't light it's a good contrast but again the last series was a let down and I don't think Paul being gay worked

Black Mirror

Black Mirror
What a show, I didn't know what I was getting into really watched the first episode and it was funny but I could see it happening, I even see many happening such as the bees, the bribery/ paedophile episode and the social media ratings ( in fact I see it kinda happening already ) the San Junipero episode with the memories in the computers freaked me out. The thought of dying scars the shit out of me but also I don't think I'd want to be uploading into a computer.i could see the one with the social media posts and video chips being in demand now, and no doubt the police would use the technology to investigate people like that

The mentalist

Again just brilliant Patrick Jane although Red John was a let down. The guy who plays Patrick Jane though brilliant actor.

Dexter

I watched a few series but stopped watching I think when I found out the killer freezing body parts was the sisters boyfriend, ( although it reminds me of Sherlock Holmes I have to finish!
