Anyone watching this now? Could it possibly be that the new bespectacled ugly female character sitting opposite Betty @ Sofia's office is really the bitchy Amanda character played by Becki Newton?

My DH noticed this. Took me a while to twig that it was her.

I noticed that too, it was her voice that gave it away at first, but all through the programme, I kept thinking is it?/isn't it ?

Yep, definitely her, thought she did very well. Notice the first shot of her as Amanda was uber-glam just in case we thought she really was an ugger (Think Cameron Diaz in Being John Malkovich).
