I thought Emma's impression of Sarah's "give me the broom, give me the broom"- urgently-now gesture (Before she did her Sound of the Underground quality mime) was brilliant!!

Everyone should watch this. It's so funny. "I'm not moving" ==. "give me the broom" in seconds!!!

Poor Chad. He looks so impressed she has a dance routine for a song that he's never heard of BUT all the others have. It reminds me of Chantelle fooling the others she was from a girlband in CCB many years ago.

Just found this on YouTube which was the bit of PopStars: The Rivals when they announced the band. I'd forgotten this but Javine was by far the best singer IMO - leagues ahead of all of them. I think that was really what Davina meant when she said "no idea what went on here".

I wonder if this was the root of Sarah's issues - that she went into the band feeling like she didn't deserve to be there - and that everyone (the other girls included) thought that Javine was better than her.

Sarah looked great at the height of their fame, when she had the very blonde short hair. It's all gone downhill from there I fear, not least the unwashed and rank extensions. The not knowing lyrics and obvious miming was quite tragic in terms of an industry professional Fair play if the singers (!) want stage gigs, but they have to be shown to be sober and most of all dependable because so many other jobs and investment depends on them.

Not sure how I feel about what you say Pope - she could've done a Nicola and just lived a life without trying for the spotlight again.
It's sad that her friend was an employee. Perhaps she's made really bad choices in her private life and so doesn't have that grounding and support network that the others have?

I was shocked that Sandi was evicted and relieved for Helen, who clearly wanted to get out. The whole kitchen domination thing never gets old does it

What I meant is that maybe all the way from the start Sarah has felt (whether that was right or not) the underdog from a talent point of view (ie. not such a good singer - Nicola was a good singer) and like the other girls didn't feel she deserved her place over Janine.

If you have that kind of deep rooted insecurity, it will leak out everywhere in coping behaviour. Not saying this is definitely the case obvious as I don't know her from Adam - but wondering if it's a theory !

I've just read a spoiler article online, apparently Sarah has some things to say about Cheryl in tonight's cbb.
Reading it, it doesn't sound too pleasant but obv hard to know the tone it was said without seeing it.

Not seen that Duck but yes, things are so often quoted out of context and do we ever really get proper context?

Pope YY I get where you're coming from, I was more thinking of how I'd react, or even, how it might be healthy to react. So many people just hitch a ride on someone else's Show Biz Coat Tails and you know, there's nothing too much wrong with that if it works for you. Surely all groups have the non-singer, here because you can dance, or the good looker? and they all play a part in the mix.

Like I said, maybe success when you're not that talented, is easier to live with if your home support network is really grounded?
