I am so pathetically excited that Real Dee might be back this time. I'll help Sonya pack her bags.

You'd think, given the stramash over Fake Dee, might have checked out this Hamish bloke and discovered that he's about to go the big house with Dr Nick because he's not been paying his taxes.

MiddleClassProblem · 27/09/2017 23:58

Yes, you'd think Mark would run a background check like he does on everyone else.

If Sonya was that young then I guess she could easily be 19/20 when knowing what's his face

Cherrypie32 · 29/09/2017 14:06

The book exchange project!! I could put a bookcase outside my house in theme t five minutes and ask people to borrow books/leave books. It would probably hold more than that book cupboard too.

JamOrCreamFirst · 29/09/2017 19:24

So many people turning up for the book exchange opening. Proper laugh out loud funny. And a "free library"? Do libraries in Oz charge then? Grin

TheWashingFairyatemyhamster · 29/09/2017 22:15

I know Floella and Middle Mark will gladly hide evidence for Sonia, but check out whether this flash Harry who's turned up claiming to be his vulnerable little brother's dad is dodgy? Nah, he'll be right!

Have they even done the scrapy scrapy game? Surely at this point even Nell would be offering Tyler her advice that it would be a wise move...

CurbsideProphet · 29/09/2017 23:23

I'm also bored with the Hamish storyline and surprised that no one has even mentioned paternity tests etc.
Presumably the counsellor is intentionally driving a wedge.
Newcomers with tenuous links usually have an ulterior motive, which is made particularly obvious by the "sinister" background music Grin

JamOrCreamFirst · 30/09/2017 05:50

Its all a bit tedious st the moment. I'm not sure what they could do to make me maintain interest. The newest family is a miss for me too, with the stupid lawnmower, nasal voice and ex cop long tease.

Floellabumbags · 30/09/2017 07:33

That's why she had a tantrum when Mark was looking after her the other day. She was trying to tell him to get off his bum and do some detective work but he was reading the HSamuels Christmas Catalogue and daydreaming about getting Elly a bag of hay with an engagement ring in it.

Excited101 · 30/09/2017 12:20

Yashvi needs to do one, they couldn't have made her more annoying if they'd tried! Her mum shrieking 'you left yashvi with a pile of money?!' Unless she's an addict of some sort then she should be able to manage that, if she can't then they need to sort out they're entire parenting style. I think it's hilarious that Ben is (was?) meant to be 'into' her.

ComedyofTerrors · 30/09/2017 12:34

getting Elly a bag of hay with an engagement ring in it.

He's such a neat freak too. The bits from the haynet in the corner of the bedroom must drive him mad. He'd be jumping out of bed every 5 minutes to get the vacuum

Floellabumbags · 30/09/2017 14:26

I wonder if Kate's hat shed glitter?

woodhill · 30/09/2017 16:20

Who took the money. Yashvi is a right pita

tobee · 30/09/2017 18:41

So as it was all a bit dull, I was wondering if the room where Yashvi was posing with the money doubled up as the one hospital bed room. I thought they might have changed the filter on the interior window and rolled back the hospital bed. Then the props department randomly threw stuff in there. From time immemorial. The old portrait of Mrs Mangel. I think maybe the old typewriter could have been in the tiny Lassisters office used by Gail and Paul from the days when they constantly eating dim sum. And that tiny metal filing cabinet was like the one Gail and Paul had all their Lassiters paperwork, big international hotel that it was.

packofshunts · 01/10/2017 12:18

Wish someone would take Yashvi to see a ENT surgeon!

GreenSpaghetti · 01/10/2017 17:27

ENT specialist? Surely you mean Dr Karl. Or puppet David at a push

Floellabumbags · 02/10/2017 11:50

Why should Ben apologise for safeguarding the money? I hate Yashvi with a passion. I hope she gets a tonne of concrete on her head when she's babysitting Jimmy down the well with fecking Ellie. Mark will get over it by Wednesday and engaged to the portrait of Mrs Mangel by Thursday.

Flashinggreen · 02/10/2017 18:52

I thought Elly was a right cow today, and Mark turning down the opportunity to buy a ring!

TheWashingFairyatemyhamster · 02/10/2017 21:48

Mark is such a miserable self-righteous git. Why does Paige like him? When they eventually get together he's just going to make her stay in and tidy up whilst he tuts and patronises her about her flighty ways.

She's basically running Lassiters with a giant baby in tow. What does he do? Fanny about the place hiding evidence and blaming everything on Tyler.

Not that I'm a Paige fan, but at least she's not Elly. She's always got that going for her.

ComedyofTerrors · 02/10/2017 23:42

and engaged to the portrait of Mrs Mangel by Thursday.

At least he'd always know where she was and she'd be unlikely to be flighty.

Smidge001 · 03/10/2017 08:30

Mrs Mangel would have loved Mark and his neat and theoretically proper ways. Not sure she could have coped with his brother being gay though. She'd struggle with Ty and his top knot too (though she did have to live through the days of the Australian mullet)

Floellabumbags · 03/10/2017 19:37

Right then. Who has been on the Neighbours FB page? Someone has asked Father Jack "Why is Gabe so big?"

woodhill · 03/10/2017 21:12

Wouldn't Dippi be concerned with her sister having Leo casually staying over in her house when she has 2 daughters.

Also why is Mark not finding out more about Hamish or speaking to Faye

Floellabumbags · 04/10/2017 10:55

And Susan didn't seem too bothered about Ellie having Mark to stay over then splitting up with him the next day. Questionable morals in Erinsborough.

SleepingStandingUp · 04/10/2017 10:57

woodhill I thought that re the condom episode. Turned out Baby Sis had had a random hook up. No one cared that he was in the house with two kids. At least least know Leo. But he has his own place. Why not go there and compete with sex noises with Arrvid rather than keep quiet so youngest child doeabt ask why aunty was moaning all night??

SleepingStandingUp · 04/10/2017 10:58

Maybe no one can have sex in the Branning house?
