Is it just me or does anyone else HATE HATE HATE that advert with Uma Thurman

I especially hate the one with the lipstick- it ANNOYS me so much. I don't know why. It feels really condescending.

yep - and more to the point the way they have done the lighting on all those adverts makes her look weird ... and a bit haggard (and she can't be really)

They're driving me barmy - so obviously aimed at men

(having said that I dreamed she was my teacher the other night! Not THAT kind of dream I hasten to add)

..and what has her with wet hair and going on about getting soaked in the rain got to do with Virgin Media. I got soaked in the bloody rain this morning and looked like a drowned rat ... still waiting to be approached by Branson.

My ds 2.10 thinks they are hysterical. He also loves to point out that Uma has 'greasy hairs' in the one where she is wet - thats my boy

Funny, I really don't mind it. I find it refreshing to see Uma looking without wanting to offend any posters like a regular MNer. She has under-eye bags, just like me!

Yes, I only saw it once, and with the sound off, and I thought it looked like a shit advert. I couldn´t believe gorgeous and cool Uma (imho) was doing such a crappy ad.

But don't you think she puts her lipstick on in a weird way?!

If they could afford Uma thurman, they could afford to pay for sky one! (I know not really but still....)
