Please help me identify this programme! BBC drama

It was on a few years ago - 2-4.

Based on a book I believe. A thriller about two couples? Or one couple and another woman on holiday maybe in a cottage?

The opening credits was lots of things (a mirror, scissors) floating through a swimming pool. Pretty sure it was BBC. Help!

Maybe a lake and not a pool? It's driving me mad and googling isn't helping

Yes cow I think I was getting them both a bit muddled - I also kept thinking of things I realised we're broadchurch

Dr Foster is coming back for another series as well apparently!

Oh I think I remember that. Was one of the characters working in a school int he playground and they went to the countryside and one of the men drownded the other when they were seeing who could swim fastest or something

I loved that drama.

I thought marchlands too, but I'm pretty sure that was ITV.

I thought you meant The One I Love. Different and creepy. It was a movie not TV show tho.

Well I'll be watching all of these
