Is this the Russian spy thing? We watched the first series such a long time ago. We couldn't get into it although DH watched it for longer than I did.

It was a bit too brutal for me.

I hope she doesn't and end up emotionally stunted like her mother.

I think they're setting it up for Philip to go against the spy thing totally... maybe not but that's how it's looking. I hope they bring Oleg back... he's very watchable

Martha's a fantastic character. I agree about Oleg

I hope Martha returns properly. We saw her very briefly in the Moscow supermarket a couple of weeks ago. I don't know how it would be done, though.

I'm unsure about Stan's girlfriend. Maybe she's monitoring him for the US authorities, who may be suspicious of him following his affair with Nina and his bromance with Oleg.

Paige will always struggle to have normal relationships, poor girl.

I'm wondering what they have in store for Martha. The Soviets are presumably keeping an eye on her to ensure that she doesn't work against them. She's clearly having a miserable time, no opulence for her despite being a "heroine".

In her place I think I'd hand myself in to the US embassy and plea bargain like mad.
