I have just finished this and I REALLY liked it but reviews are shockers. Anyone else seen it?

I liked it but boy were most of them obnoxious, spoiled, dickheads.

We really liked it and have also heard it's had a very poor critical reception!

Stupid title.
Good cast playing really annoying characters
Some of the situations made me laugh (e.g. what happened to Anastasia on the car journey).

I agree that every single character was a terrible person really but I just really liked it. It's got something dreadful like 20% on rotten tomatoes but I would really like to see a second series. Also, always had a soft spot for Fred Savage.

I really enjoyed it! One of the funniest things I've watched for ages. I thought the characters were fairly obnoxious but quite realistic really. Or maybe I'm just at that same age and find the archetypes, if not the specific situations, relatable.

Usually characters you dislike at the start either grow on you or redeem themselves in some way, but by the end of this I didn't even like the ones I had at the start!

I watched Master of None after it and thought that was really good

I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. The characters are annoying but so are a lot of people in real life I stuck it on whilst I was faffing about and by the fourth episode I was hooked. Some of it was a bit hit and miss but most of the writing was very good, funny without overdoing the clever clever me pretension. I thought the digs around the YA fiction were very funny.

I enjoyed it. It is a background show though - one to watch when doing something else.

The hapless writer and male affair partner wasn't authentic at all. He definitely pinged my gaydar...

I really liked it! Yes they were all vile but it didn't stop it being funny.

I loved it! And know plenty of people just like them. It was a pretty fair depiction of certain people of a certain age.

I couldn't get my head around that Samantha was supposed to be 40. She looked waaaay older. She wasn't old enough to be choosing between figure and face yet.

I loved it and yet couldn't find a single review that had anything good to say about it. In fact the reviews were pretty scathing all round. The winery tour episode on the party bus was hilarious.
