Anyone watch the first episode tonight?

Can't believe how mean Manley was to Mia saying 'I don't like you' and 'I can't stand to be around you'

Sad

I watched too, not surprised to see Dylan and Megan split up but glad she has a supportive mum!

Manley is horrible and Mia just takes it because she's so besotted by him. Hope she sees she can do better.

TellysAndWellys · 26/07/2017 22:34

I watched it!!!

I know. I felt genuinely sorry for her, what a horrible, nasty thing to say. It's such a shame seeing young girls having to put up with shit like that.

Didn't take to the new girl much (although did feel sorry for her on her boyfriends birthday). I wonder what happened to the girl who was on the first series. She was another one who was treated like crap by a man. Why don't these poor girls see they're worth more.

Love Chloe!! I think her and her boyfriend need to mature a bit but I see them doing well.

I find Megan bizarre. Took back her boyfriend after he cheated on her and now she's 8 months pregnant. What kind of life is that. He's not mature enough to have a family. I wonder what Megan's parents said when she announced she was pregnant again.

I really enjoy this though, was really looking forward to it coming back I need to get out more

IHaveBrilloHair · 27/07/2017 04:16

I love this, will watch later.

leafleaflet · 27/07/2017 16:39

Megan and Dylan seem very immature. Last series they kept blowing money on ridiculous things like that horse. And this series lo and behold he's bought a flash car. She needs to get rid of him. That comment he made last night 'daddy always comes back' just shows he knows he can do what he wants and always get away with it / have her take him back!

Chloe is brilliant, def one of my faves! Also love Amber and really feel sorry for her that she is lumbered with Ste hovering over her like a dark cloud. He is so controlling.

Not watched the new one yet, but it was Megan who was desperate for a second baby.
I think they're both awful, a car crash of teen pg, which is why we're watching obviously!

SophiaTiara · 28/07/2017 21:25

I don't understand Mia or Megan. What were they ambitions etc or why did they deliberately choose to have babies at under 18? Both seem to have no other plan or ideas or be in education or training. Very worrying!

I thought British teens were more sensible than this and there were less NEETs around now? And how did Mia and Sassi get a home, I thought under 25s can't get housing benefit anymore?

OhFuds · 29/07/2017 16:45

I'm glad Megan is back staying with her mum and is out of the tiny caravan, if only she would see sense and end it with her boyfriend.

Manly is horrible, I didn't like him in the 1st season either.

I did feel really sorry for the new girl's boyfriend, that relationship is definitely not going to last.

Jordan needs a kick up the backside and Ste must be murder to deal with.

LittleMyLikesSnuffkin · 30/07/2017 15:38

Manley is vile as is Dylan. I felt sorry for Ste in the last series at the very beginning. But then I wised up fast. Collectively the 3 of them remind me of my nasty controlling abusive ex Hmm they have each even said word for word stuff he used to.

I can't decide whether Manley is gaslighting Mia or cheating on her (or both). He's creating nasty atmospheres and bad feeling like he's trying to break up with her and make the poor girl think it's all her fault. And if my son speaks to his partner that way in front of me ever like Manley spoke to Mia in front of his mum I'd give him what for! Angry

Megan will spend the rest of best years at least being treated like shit by Dylan. And her sister was dead right about his flash new car.

MondieBee · 30/07/2017 15:46

Manley was horrible this episode but I found Mia quite difficult last season. She didn't do a single wake up when their baby was born and came across as quite lazy. I always get the feeling she is more concerned about giving a good impression/image to people than actually being a parent. I think she wanted a baby because she was jealous of Manley's ex. If they've moved and he's doing all the domestic stuff the way he suggests then I'm not surprised he's fed up. If it were reversed and she was doing everything no one would hesitate to criticise him for it.

That all being said the venom in his words was awful and he must be a nasty guy to say something like that. I think Mia needs out for her own good, she must feel dreadful and to be filmed with your partner speaking to you like that would be so humiliating. I think she'd really struggle on her own so I wonder if she feels stuck.

Sassi was so over the top. He flicked and looked in the card but then closed it again to read the message but she went mental insisting he didn't. Poor girl was obviously just pissed off that he got to go away and just leave her to it (as men seem far more able to do) but it's a shame she couldn't just say that

LittleMyLikesSnuffkin · 30/07/2017 16:17

Mia is/was bloody annoying and I can see why he would be snappy but he didn't seem snappy he seemed to deliberately choose his time to belittle her. His ex who he has another child with is lucky he didn't stick around.

Honestly I just want to yell at all these girls "for fuck sake you don't have to live like this! You can do better than this!"

That said I do think Jordan seems like a perfectly nice boy with his head screwed on. The pressure Chloe has been putting him under to get a house with a mortgage no less! It's hard enough getting somewhere to rent at that age let alone buy!

The teen mom US girls seem a lot more driven to do something college and career wise most of them seem to work so hard and fair play to them all.

OhFuds · 31/07/2017 11:18

I've just seen this about Naomi from series 1. Sounds like she is doing much better.

OhFuds · 31/07/2017 11:18

.

Wendalicious · 31/07/2017 22:10

Thanks for the update x

leafleaflet · 02/08/2017 11:14

Is it on again tonight?

OhUnpretentiousSpud · 02/08/2017 17:19

8pm Tonight I think.

Who's watching? Such a guilty pleasure!

thismeansnothing · 02/08/2017 17:35

Followed teen mom OG from the start (not bothered with subsequent US ones)

And watched the first series of the uk one and just watched last weeks episode. I don't even know where to start with what I think, except if I was Manlys mum watching that episode I'd Friggen belt him. He may be frustrated at doing all the house stuff that he claimed but that is no excuse for speaking to anyone like he did with such venom bitter and nastiness. Horrible vile behaviour

DH is out tonight so I might indulge myself and watch tonight's episode when it actually airs

LoadsaBlusher · 04/08/2017 20:34

Loving this series
Also sitting thinking
" why are u with these guys "
Especially mia
She does not seem happy
She seems to be playing happy home

IHaveBrilloHair · 04/08/2017 20:49

I can't understand why any of them are together, they don't even seem to like each other Confused

MondieBee · 04/08/2017 21:11

I really felt for Sassi this time. Sobbing over a crying baby that Will Not Stop is very familiar. I did find myself thinking though that to do it with someone filming would be even worse. It'd be embarrassing. And if I were part of the crew there I'd want to take the baby for a little while and give her a moment!
I really felt for Amber as well. She seems really quite mature. I feel sorry for Ste too, he doesn't treat her right but he's obviously deeply troubled and knows when he is being a dick. He said in this episode he's got nothing and he said similar before. I think he's not got much support and can't get over that he messed things up with Amber and missed out on a chance to have a family life. It's rubbish for Amber that she is still having the same old drama with him. She seems to feel both frustrated and trapped but also sorry for him.

LoadsaBlusher · 04/08/2017 21:16

I like Amber
Sassi seems nice too just a bit hot headed , and her and her BF seem to be in love , just a little immature with each other

Mia and manly just totally appear not to get on
He is a virtually non verbal grump who seems to struggle to converse
I cringe watching her desperately try to get any sort of conversation or interaction out of him
Lack of self esteem to stay with somebody like that

Chloe is nice but just immature and comes across as spoilt
I think her mum should let her move out and try reality , it's the only way she will learn
It seems she has it very easy and leads a very pampered life right now.

thismeansnothing · 04/08/2017 22:10

Chloe's mum was right that she's in cloud cuckoo land. £100 a week on food for just her and her fella?! wtaf?!!!

LoadsaBlusher · 04/08/2017 22:24

I noticed she had written down £40 a month for cleaning products too !!!

OhFuds · 04/08/2017 22:46

Megan needs to end it with Dylan and move on with her 2 babies, hopefully find someone decent because Dylan is never going to be who she wants him to be.

Mia can do nothing right in Manly's eyes, I was reading the comments on a TM UK fb post and Manlys mum made a comment for people to stop saying her son treats Mia so bad and how lovely he is Confused.

I think Chloe should rent for a bit to get the reality of owning your own home before committing to a mortgage.

I can't warm to Stassi.

Hopefully Amber gets her happy ending.

rasmusklump · 10/08/2017 11:57

Is anyone else wondering how on earth two 18 year olds with no credit history and a £7000 deposit have somehow scored for a £113,000 mortgage?!

OhFuds · 10/08/2017 12:43

I've not watched this week's yet but when I do I'll ask my DH as he's a bank manager.
