Sky box

Hi
Could someone please tell me why my sky box takes so long to turn on. I am talking about the sky box in my conservatory unlike the one in the lounge I turn it off at the plug but it takes ages to turn back on - very annoying - any ideas?

When you switch it off at the plug it has to reload the entire system rather than just boot up.

Oh right - should I not turn it off at the plug then??

Just leave it plugged in all the time and turn it off with the remote. They can get a bit warm but as long as they are fairly well ventilated we've never had any problems. They do take forever to reboot!

Takes 4 minutes to reboot after turning off at the plug.
