I was - but unlike you lot I'm not old. I always though of either 32 (16 and 16) or 36 (18 and 18) of being minimum granny age. I taught in a sixth form college (16 - 19yr olds) and have taught kids with mums younger than me ooops!!

I am a 1970 baby, and I found out last week that one of the "mothers" from school is actually the child's grandma, and is also two years younger than me. No-one else batted an eyelid at this revelation, but I nearly fainted.

I was, who says we're all grannies? Technically my SIL, also 1970, could be a granny as her DD1 is 19, but I don't think there are many 36 yr old grannies around are there? Please tell me there aren't
