Should a 14 year watch Love Island?

Found out dgd watches Love Island.

I haven't said anything to dd (dgd'd dm). I'm just thinking to myself, is that show appropriate for a 14 year old? She suffers from low self confidence and isn't doing well at school, IMHO a show like that won't help... I'm not going to say anything to dd as obv it's her dd, not mine.

Just want thoughts regarding the show and whether it's appropriate.. Confused

No chance in this house!! My 17yo has just started watching it and it's bloody awful.
So much swearing, constant sex chat, people behaving like total arseholes. Shots of people actually shagging, yes it's under the duvet but I don't want to see some young un's arse going ten to the dozen! Grin

I don't have a 14 year old but it seems fairly harmless to me. It would be a good way to have all sorts of conversations actually about sex, relationships, plastic surgery, safe sex etc. Unless she's a very sheltered 14 yr old, chances are that she'll be fully aware of all sorts anyway.
