BBC 4. Spanish thriller. Anyone else watching?

What? Cliffhanger???? So frustrating

My God that was brilliant! I can't wait for series 2 as the BBC are calling it but why not show all of it now instead of bloody Montalbano?

Yes but now there is no mystery. Is there a real series two or did BBC just decide to save the last episodes til later?

What an awful cliffhanger.

Oh. I saw there were originally 16 episodes but as I had read criticisms that the show rambled at parts I thought they had just edited it down into 10. How annoying. The announcer said series two was next year. Just ruins the flow. Might try to see if I can get the rest somewhere else

That's annoying that they've split it. I wonder why? It was shown as a one off 16 episode series in Spain. I might try and get the other six online. Why did they do this? Would have been excellent to get a one off series

I'm (possibly stupidly) posting here despite having only watched the first two so far. Would like to carry on the conversation once I've caught up a bit!

I really liked it, and the interiors, although yes, Elias's family house IS creepy and clinical.

The young lawyer annoys me. She permanently looks as if she's trying to work out a hard sum. And is she OLD enough to have finished law school? [old gimmer]

I love the actor playing Alicia and yes, she definitely looks familiar from Almodovar films. She's charismatic and really beautiful.

It's very grown-up telly, IMO. So far anyway.

DH was more than a little annoyed at the end of what we thought was the final episode. Bloody BBC. We too will be looking to download the remaining episodes.

POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT.
Mind you I had already decided on an end where both Elias and Alicia die and Anna then dies because with them gone nobody knows she's there as there is no way I would wait until next year for the remaining episodes or "another series" as the Beeb choose to call it.

Well I found them in a Spanish site, my Spanish is pretty shocking though. If anyone can find full subtitled versions please share!

I thought it was actually on later this year? It's halfway through August now. I'm still annoyed though.

I searched for the title in Spanish and got the Spanish TV site, but cant find link as it was on my now dead tablet. Will try in morning.

You can get it on www.telecinco.es but it's in Spanish with no subtitles, obviously. DH thinks he can manage but i doubt my Spanish is up to it

DH and I were cross at the ending but although he said he won't bother with the next series I am quite curious to see how a sequel would go.

Tbh thought the whole thing could have been wrapped up neatly in 6 episodes.

For some reason I translated the Spanish websites as I just wanted to find out if there were to be more episodes. I now know what is going to happen in the rest of the episodes- gah!
