I adore this film. I have it on video and DVD. I need to be in the right frame of mind to watch it though. It makes me bawl!

Much better as a book... although I think Chocolat was too

have just cried my EYES out at the bot where brooks kills himself.

Have seen this film about 10 times, and cry every time. Its his whole story - i cry all the way through from the start of the 'letter reading'
