Hi a new thread for discussion

Message from Cherry (sorry not full name I have used up my cut and paste ) to get us started

SPOILERS AHEAD

DH was disappointed. I think he wanted Kevin to be Jesus we are not religious!

I wasn't, I like how everything had a scientific explanation in the end.

However I really wish we'd seen Nora go to the other side. And I don't believe for a minute that a mother wouldn't approach her kids, that she'd come back to live a miserable existence and that neglect her hair so very much i thought it was kind of a shame that they focussed on their love story, it really wasn't that epic or interesting and I didn't think they were particularly a good match.

I'm cynical, I don't think Kevin went to elevators but instead had MH issues. Sorry

Hooray!

I've really loved the whole show, loved the Lion boat episode and was Shock at Matt's joke!

I guess with the Jesus thing the legend of kevin or possibly the slightly burned book could survive and people believe it happened and he was Jesus - a bit like the apostles wrote about Jesus and people now believe he was the son of good even though there is no proof of that. If people believe he is Jesus maybe that makes him Jesus anyway? Confused

I loved series three at first but was a little bit disappointed by the last couple of episodes. I thought the hotel episode in series 2 was amazing but it didn't work for me somehow this time - would Kevin have really ended the world? The dick id check is certainly the stuff of a mental breakdown Grin

There is a theory that the 2% survived and the 98% all died - interesting in that situation Nora's children were the lucky ones as with their dad.

yes Matt's joke Grin that episode was pretty critical I think ..god is an "£$£%£% (sorry brought up Catholic so can't bring myself to say it!)

I don't think he did blow up the afterlife, didn't he blow up purgatory?

yumyumpoppycat · 13/07/2017 19:34

I think it might have been better if they had aimed to finish it over series three and an additional series 4, felt a bit rushed although there seems more purpose with a trilogy.

Janek I thought that by blowing up purgatory he was ensuring the flood on earth would happen, he gave up on his dad saving the world so who was going to save it instead?

Just watched the finale Shock

I really enjoyed it! But I thought the producers always maintained that they would never explain what happened to the people who disappeared? Or were we meant to think that Nora was lying? Kevin had lied to her but then came clean or testing him somehow? This isn't really what I think, I want her to be telling the truth but if it was true it seems a shame we didn't see it!
