A Class Apart. Anyone watch? What happened at the end?

DH recorded it for me, as we were out watching DS in a play. As usual, he managed to f**k up the recording, and the disc he used kept skipping and jumping, so parts of it were a bit disjointed for me anyway.

I got to where the boy's Mum (Jessie Wallace) was at the 'new parents supper.' What happened after that?

Will appreciate info.

well, she went off with headmaster and had a bit of a fumble, then the deputy (the guy the head's wife was sleeping with) saw them. He spoke to Mum and told her that Kyle had only got in cos of a bet for a walnut whip. Kyle won poetry prize - deputy not very surrepticiously handed head the walnut whip, Mum saw and launched into tirade about how her son had been used, and told of how head's wife sleeping with deputy....... (this was in front of everyone)
deputy denies this (but head knew didn;t he?)

at end you saw kyle and mum walking up to hostile crowd at Clampmead school. but the crowd opened to let them through.

Ended with big happy smile on mum's face

does that make any sense? - very stream of consciousness on my part...

Thanks. How did the Mum know that the Head's wife was sleeping with the Deputy? Did the Head tell her? Did Kyle find out about his Mum and the Head's fumble?

i thought it was quite good..... bit random but good.

Yes, i enjoyed what I could watch of it! It was interesting for me, as we've just been through secondary admission with DD. Luckily, I didn't have to resort to chaining myself to any railings with red thong (not that I wear one) showing!!
