I'm watching surviours, about after a flu pandemic.

and frequency which is about a police woman who can talk to her dad 10 years ago and they are working together in diffrent times to catch a serial killer.

Strummerville · 08/07/2017 21:35

Opened thread to recommend Archer and Rick & Morty Grin

Better Call Saul? Just as good as Breaking Bad IMO, but a slower burn.

Strummerville · 08/07/2017 21:35

Orphan Black also worth a look

LurkingHusband · 09/07/2017 17:34

Black Mirror ?

getoutmygarden · 09/07/2017 17:46

I'm halfway through Glow and it's excellent. About female wrestlers, which I didn't think I would enjoy but it's brilliant.

First season of My Crazy Ex-Girlfriend is really good too. It wasn't at all what I was expecting.

iwishiwasrichandthin · 09/07/2017 17:52

Sons of anarchy and orange is the new black

iwishiwasrichandthin · 09/07/2017 17:53

Ooh and house of cards the American one with Kevin spacey not the English one, that's shite. And dexter

midsomermurderess · 09/07/2017 19:25

I'm on Death in Paradise. I'm feeling a bit low and anxious so a stream of murders in the Caribbean seems to be just the job. Bloodlines is good and I am also quite enjoying Gypsy, where a therapist starts inserting herself in her clients lives, very creepily.

Mulch · 09/07/2017 19:30

Love love love Black mirror. got the book death in paradise, have to read before I watch it otherwise I'll never bother reading the book

Just watching Designated Survivor - it's really good.

Flambola · 09/07/2017 23:56

Master of None

charliebear78 · 12/07/2017 13:51

Bloodline

Amibambini · 12/07/2017 19:37

Sense8 is amazing, brilliantly diverse cast, sexy as fuck, full of jaw dropping action scenes and all about human empathy.

hmcAsWas · 31/08/2017 21:24

Bumping this thread.

I've enjoyed Schitt's Creek, Crazy Ex Girlfriend, Santa Clarita Diet (I think?), Orphan Black and Orange is the New Black. Not sure what to watch now - watched first episode of Glow and was unmoved. Any recommendations to add to those listed by posters above?

user1493413286 · 31/08/2017 21:32

The good wife and orange is the new black are my favourites

moosechops · 31/08/2017 21:34

Sons of anarchy, orange is the new black and suits!

DeathMetalMum · 31/08/2017 21:36

Maybe the Marvel stuff, we started with Jessica Jones and then Daredevil, both were brilliant. Iron fist was OK and Like Cage was also really good. Orange is the new black is good two series one was brilliant, two was OK, three brilliant again, haven't got any further though.

Fudgit · 31/08/2017 21:37

For cheesy comedy I would recommend Community and Brooklyn 99.
Orphan Black is brilliant. I enjoyed Ozark and Better Call Saul too.
Also Crazy Ex-Girlfriend is ace! I wasn't sure at first but worth sticking with.

badbadhusky · 31/08/2017 21:39

Master of None is great.

I'm quite enjoying The Mist. Creepy as fuck, but a nice slowish build and interesting plot. Frances Conroy (mum from Six Feet Under) is nicely batshit in this

MadameJosephine · 31/08/2017 22:00

Better call Saul
OITNB
Orphan Black
Sense 8
Homeland (first few seasons are great, goes a bit downhill after season 3 though)
The following
The OA

MadameJosephine · 31/08/2017 22:33

Oh and Stranger Things, it was brilliant and the second season is due in October

mrsnolasco · 31/08/2017 22:41

I've just started watching pretty little liars. I'm hooked - DH hates it tho he says it's too slow for him.

bloomingheather · 31/08/2017 23:12

Also loved Orphan Black, Ozark and Glow - it definitely gets better as it goes on hmc so it might be worth sticking with it. Some good documentaries too.

Ellieboolou27 · 01/09/2017 00:00

Narcos is great, if you liked power then you'll love narcos.

StylishDuck · 01/09/2017 01:48

Recently I've enjoyed:

Designated Survivor
The Good Wife
Homeland
Suits
