house - don't get it

watched it last night for the first time. the characters don't seem to gel. is it a cross between csi and scrubs?

Oh I love House its one of my fave programmes.

What didn't you get?

Character's don't gel that much, the three doctors that help House are so competitive and always trying to get one over on each other, or on House, makes the show a little more edgy never knowing how their relationships will progress.

Mind you, last night was the first episode of the third series so its bound to take awhile to get into.

Trust me its a great show, so don't give up on it yet!

Its also a bit different at the moment because normally House has a gammy leg due to rabdomyolisis and walks with a stick, and has a severe dependency on painkillers.

This is supposed to make him like Sherlock Holmes (House, Holmes, geddit?) and his mate Wilson (Watson) gets the piss taken out of him all the time.

This and the pain makes him very rude to patients, and this week he was actually quite civil towards them which isnt like him.

Stick with it, I think its worth it!
