I need something new to watch

I'm housebound for a while and need something new to while away the hours.

So far I've gone through Poldark and Outlander which I loved, refreshed myself in GoT before the new season and watched all of Modern Family as well.

Any suggestions?

Have you seen Line of Duty? I watched all four seasons online, and my mother is addicted now too.

PotOfYoghurt · 26/06/2017 14:03

I've never even heard of that one. What's it about?

Line of duty is great

Bloodline

House of cards

magicstar1 · 26/06/2017 23:35

It's a police drama...4 season, 6 episodes in each. But each season wraps up nicely. First three seasons are on Netflix too

calzone · 26/06/2017 23:46

I've just finished Bloodline AF!!!

By the end of it I wanted them all to be washed away to sea!

calzone · 26/06/2017 23:46

Line of Duty is fabulous!

It did drag a little bit, calzone Smile

The 1st series was the best

Davros · 27/06/2017 08:17

Victoria
The Crown
The Durrells
Line of Duty - love it!

PotOfYoghurt · 27/06/2017 10:24

Oh lots of votes for Line of Duty, I'll have to give that a go.

I've also seen Victoria/The Crown/House of Cards, all of which I liked (although found House of Cards got really slow in the later seasons...)

I loved Broadchurch, series 1 was brilliant series 2 wasn't as good but series 3 was back to being brilliant, I liked Containment which was played on E4, also love the Goldbergs if you want a bit of 80's comedy.
Black Mirror is good, and I am currently watching the Handmaid's Tale on channel 4 every sunday night which is just gripping! it is very good.

PotOfYoghurt · 27/06/2017 10:52

Oh I loved Series 1 of Broadchurch, do you think I'd be able to watch season 3 without watching season 2? Or would it be missing important backstory information?

More for my list, thank you! There's only so much mid-morning 'Escape To The Country' I can take Confused

MusicToMyEars800 · 27/06/2017 11:20

you could, I didn't watch all of series 2 and was ok with series 3 which was brilliant. Oh Blimey Escape to the country is enough to put me to sleep Grin

Riviera on Sky Atlantic is glossy, entertaining stuff. The Leftovers s good too, 2 series of that. For light relief, have you see VEEP?

SpinMill · 28/06/2017 09:22

Harlen Coben's The Five

Missing- series 1 and 2

Lucky Man

Misspilly88 · 28/06/2017 09:24
