Just got Netflix - what's worth watching?

If I like:

Crime dramas - Broadchurch and similar
SciFi - Dr Who, Supernatural and similar
Comedies - old fashioned ones like Dad's Army, Big Bang and similar

We watched several Ru Paul's Drag Race tonight and loved it (in a car crash telly sort of way).

What should I look out for?

We're not telly addicts by any means but my god Netflix is money well spent!

I google what to watch on Netflix 2017 quite often and always end up watching brilliant, left field films I'd never heard of but love.

Orphan black

13 reasons why - warning about suicide but it's an amazing show

Better call Saul & breaking bad if you haven't seen it.

Stranger things is great

Stranger Things

Don't know if 3% is still on there but I really enjoyed it. It is in Portuguese but you can choose to have the English dubbing. Took me till episode 4 to figure that out...

I just finished Designated Survivor which was really good in a far-fetched way.

The Crown is great.

Most long-form documentaries that take 13 episodes to drag out a point (like someone innocent was put in prison, someone was murdered and an organisation covered it up) which could be made in an hour.

Also avoid the American version of The Killing- boring and predictable but Joel Kinamen is quite fun to look at.

Another vote for designated survivor, the Crown and homeland.

I just binged The OA - it was FAB!! For the first episode I was very "meh" up until the last 5/10 mins and then it grabbed me, and each episode gets better from there on. Definitely recommend...
