I can't stop crying. That wonderful couple giving those kids who woukd otherwise be in care, a home and family. They are amazing and selfless people. Those who made it possible that they could have a new home, fit for their needs.

Amazing wasn't it what a wonderful couple and lovely kids.

EllaHen · 09/06/2017 23:06

Agreed. Those children probably wouldn't experience love in their lives without this wonderful, wonderful couple.

Aeroflotgirl · 09/06/2017 23:09

I know, those two amazing people, have given homes to 4 vulnerable kids. The are absolutely fantastic and so loving and caring.

Have to admit I had tears in my eyes watching it! Even my husband who watched the last 20 mins, was moved! He made a good point that its good to see people like them, it kind of restores your faith in human nature!
Also, I have a wee crush on Nick Knowles. I know, he's old, but I like him! Grin

SynysterGates · 09/06/2017 23:20

we watched it and OMG those guys were amazing

Allofaflumble · 09/06/2017 23:36

They are heaven sent. What a brilliant piece of tv. The children are lovely. Every time they said our kids or our family I went all warm inside. Sigh.

Spookle · 10/06/2017 10:46

I'm 10 minutes into watching this and already swallowing down the sobs and blinking back tears.

I know you will probably never see this but I have to say to Kyle and Garry Ratcliffe that you are both absolutely amazing and I wish you all the very best for the future.

Haydn, Curtis, Bella and Phoebe - your smiles, laughter and love are beautiful and have made my heart swell.

DIY SOS team - I've been a bit in love with all of you for years especially Billy. Keep up the good work.

Right, I just need to find the tissues before pressing play again.

NotYoda · 10/06/2017 11:21

I know!

I was telling people at work today about it and i got a little tear in my eye, and so did they

I was contrasting it with parents who can't even seem to smile at or listen to their own child

SprinkleOfInsanity · 10/06/2017 11:43

Is it the 'isle of sheppey' one?

Iamtheresurrection · 10/06/2017 13:23

They have the biggest hearts ever. I'm moved to tears every time I think about them.

Aeroflotgirl · 10/06/2017 14:29

They are both fantastic and beautiful people, and I wish their lovely family a happy life together. They thoroughly deserve it.

Just downloaded and watched it. What wonderful men, and what a lovely family they have created. Bawling my eyes out.

iffikitty · 10/06/2017 16:08

Not a program I normally watch but was channel hopping. I was entranced by the whole family and the lovely neighbour, made me cry. So much love.

Frith2013 · 12/06/2017 10:18

I think it's going to be one of a very few programmes I watch twice - loved them.

NotYoda · 12/06/2017 20:43

Oh it's always worth watching. It's uplifting and funny

We call it die soss in our house

leccybill · 12/06/2017 22:39

Just watched this- what a selfless, amazing and beautiful family.
These parents deserve the highest honour for what they have done, giving those 4 children hope and a future.
So lovely to watch after all of the bad news/politics on TV lately. And to think the govt wants to join forces with a party who oppose same sex marriage.

MrsDanversKnickers · 12/06/2017 22:41

A truly amazing and selfless couple Smile

bloated1977 · 12/06/2017 22:45

I know of of them personally and I think they are amazing. The sisters have 7 other siblings all in different foster carers which is so sad Sad

leccybill · 12/06/2017 22:50

Oh that is so sad.
And for them- they are incredible for adopting 4 children all with various needs but they must, daft as it sounds, feel guilty about all the ones they can't adopt.

SweetBabyJebus · 13/06/2017 06:59

Mr. Ratcliffe is my dc's headteacher. He is utterly fantastic. It was so wonderful to see how the house turned out for them, i'm really delighted they got a place they can stay together as a family for ever.
