Think I've missed an episode or three... why is Max paying Charlie to take the baby away? Why is he being mean to Jack?

meanwhile, Louise is still going to school wearing the shortest skirt i have ever seen on a schoolgirl. at least we can count on Sharon with her boxy tops and man-made fibres to keep the fashionistas happy.

It was because Lauren and the Beal family knew he was in jail for something he didn't do but I don't understand the revenge inn jack or the carters.

No I don't get it either. He should be taking his revenge on Ian/Jane surely. Not Jack.
