Anyone watching this on Netflix?
It's a documentary about the unsolved murder of a nun in 1969 who taught English at a school in Baltimore.
I'm only 2 episodes in and finding it really shocking.
Former pupils from the school are trying to get to the bottom of what happened, it's well worth a watch.

Me! I came on this section specifically to see if anyone was talking about this because no one I know IRL has heard of it. I've had a bit of a binge watch this week and I've just watched the final episode, oh my god..... Utterly shocking!

Isn't it??
I've just watched the third one, I'm going to watch the rest this weekend.
It really is awful what those girls went through.

It's just horrendous but I'm so glad they got to tell their story. I won't say too much because I can't remember what happens in each episode and don't want to spoil anything for you.

yesbutnobut · 03/06/2017 22:17

It's really excellent, so well made and something new is thrown into each episode which makes you want to watch the next one straight away. Those women are fantastic.

HateSummer · 03/06/2017 22:23

I'm in the middle of episode 3. It's just horrific. To think this all could have been avoided after the mother of the "golden boy" reported it. Jean is an amazing woman and her family are absolutely amazing too.

I'm just watching episode 2. I think it brings home to me how corrupt some people were and you realise how people like Saville could get away with what they did.

Battytwatty · 05/06/2017 20:03

I have just finished episode 3. It's very, very hard to watch. Those poor poor girls. I was abused by a neighbour. Have only ever told my husband. I know how shameful it feels

Battytwatty · 05/06/2017 20:04

What was the mother of the "golden boy" bit? I must have missed that

cushioncovers · 05/06/2017 20:08

Is it a drama or documentary? I have seen it on Netflix but haven't watched it.

Battytwatty · 05/06/2017 20:12

It's a documentary

cushioncovers · 05/06/2017 21:57

Ok thanks

Trampire · 05/06/2017 22:19

Oh it's brilliant. I binged watched it yesterday and last night while I worked.

Totally shocking and compelling.

Just watched the lot in a few days. Fantastic, gripping filmmaking. Highly recommended.

Rhubarb01 · 10/06/2017 22:56

I watched all of this last weekend and thought it was highly absorbing, harrowing in places but the women despite everything they suffered were inspirational too. One of the best documentaries I've seen and so cleverly told - no repetitive voice overs and dramatic reconstructions. This will stay with me for a long time.

bigchris · 13/06/2017 09:28

I've just started watching it , already gripped!

VeuveLilies · 14/06/2017 20:54
