I watched it, so you are not the only saddo. I think Big brovaz [sp] will win it but I didn't really like any of them. Brian Harvey looked a wreck , didn't he?

anniebear · 17/03/2007 20:34

you and me just sad then lol glad its not just me!!

OP posts:
q7 · 17/03/2007 20:42

Missed Big Brovaz unfortunately. I thought Scrooch was probably the type of thing they were looking for.

Piffle · 17/03/2007 21:13

Scooch perfect EV fodder, Big Bro's were fab
But I really want Hawkins and Brown to win cos I love Justin and it would cheer up my very poorly ds (13) who is very ill and still mourning the Darkness splitting up.

willywonka · 17/03/2007 21:41

Have only just turned over but am sooo pleased that Scooch are going to be in the sing-off - they look perfect!!

BTW - what did Liz Atomic Kitten whatshername look like?!

Posey · 17/03/2007 21:44

Justin Hawkins said if he didn't get through he'd have a hissy fit and walk off. True to his word

This Cyndi one sounds like a mishmash of ballads through the ages with more than a passing resemblence to "You Raise me Up".

willywonka · 17/03/2007 21:46

Please tell me that Scooch are going to be as Eurovision as they look!!

willywonka · 17/03/2007 21:49

Reminds me of the opening titles to The High Life, the sitcom with Alan Cummings that was based at Prestwick Airport. Can deffo see this securing votes from Eurovision fans, it's so kitsch, it's great!

willywonka · 17/03/2007 21:49

Paddles & trolleys...genius

princesscc · 17/03/2007 21:54

What's with Fern Cottons 'Aunt Sally' cheeks? Bit too much blush me thinks!

Posey · 17/03/2007 21:54

Fab, just fab!

I loved The High Life. Why isn't it repeated on satelite channels (or is it?) I also read a very rude novel by Alan Cummings...

Back to Eurovision...Scooch to win

Posey · 17/03/2007 21:57

A bit of a cock up there methinks

princesscc · 17/03/2007 21:57

LOL! Good old Terry - total confusion! The trolly dollies have it!

smoggie · 17/03/2007 21:58

Ashamed to say that I voted 4 times for Schooch particularly when I saw that Cyndi might be in with a chance.

Posey · 17/03/2007 21:58

Total amateur balls-up. They did say Cyndi had won didn't they?

willywonka · 17/03/2007 21:59

Coffee trolley choreography, who would have thought it? pmsl at this - can't wait to see how it's received on the big night

willywonka · 17/03/2007 22:00

smoggie

lemonaid · 17/03/2007 22:02

[seriously considers namechange before posting here, then figures what the heck...]

They need to tighten up their dance moves before May, though - if you're doing camp Europop it needs to be slick camp Europop.

I would have liked Big Brovas to win, but don't know how it would have gone down at Eurovision.

CantSlimWontSlim · 17/03/2007 22:03

What a classic announcing the wrong winner!

Missed the earlier programme, so only saw the 2 who got through to the sing off - thank goodness Cyndi didn't win - she was bloody awful!

willywonka · 17/03/2007 22:04

Only saw the sing-off unfortunately because I was busy doing really important things, like watch the Dancing on Ice final...

Am so sad that I will actually see whether anyone has posted the Big Brovaz performance on YouTube . Tomorrow I promise I'll try to get a life...

puffling · 17/03/2007 22:07

I predict that Scooch will get nil points. We might find it funny to put through a crap pastiche but the rest of Europe will just find it dull, which it was.

willywonka · 17/03/2007 22:16

Big Brovaz

Justin Hawkins & Beverlei Brown

Can't honestly say I felt any compulsion to hear the other two...

CantSlimWontSlim · 17/03/2007 22:24

The Justin one sounds better than that Cyndi crap. Who exactly was voting for her, and who the hell is she anyway?!

Kaloo20 · 17/03/2007 22:33

Didn't see Hawkins & Brown, but just listened and it was OK, if it hadn't been for the kitch pop of Schooch (so eurovision it's gotta win)it would have been H&B's night.

Steward · 18/03/2007 07:53

Really liked Big Brovas song but Scooch song was probably more Eurovision. Anyway Eurovision is so political. Cyprus always give 12 points to Greece and viva versa and other countries do the same. Vote for their neighbouring country.
