LOD: Steve Arnott is Scottish!

Just that really. Just watched interview with him and was surprised by broad Scottish accent. Always thought he spoke like s David Beckhamish soft Londoner. Oh, what a lame thread. Just wanted to share 😳. Am

I found this out today too and I was astonished! I love him :)

And Ruth someone or other in The Affair isn't American either.....gosh, who knew, actors changing their accents 😲😀

Johnny Lee Miller ISN'T Scottish. Was shocked to the core when I found that out.

He was quite well known here in Scotland before LOD, so its weird for me to hear his English accent

I knew that (does that make me sad?).

He was in a series about a serial killer in Scotland recently - think it was called In Plain Sight or something like that - it was set in the 50's/60's. Anyway, I digress. DH said "blimey, he can do a really good accent can't he" and was quite surprised when I told him he was really Scottish. Just makes you realise what a good actor he is.
