She looks nothing like her. Barbara was very pretty when she was younger and tiny. Shes about 4ft 11 (I met her once she's teeny).Jaime Winstone looks nothing like her. Way too tall.

The younger one isn't very good...but the older one is brilliant. It's very disjointed though, I'm not enjoying it as much as I thought.

I'm also finding the format quite hard going. It resembles stage work but it's not quite as effectiveness on screen.
Agree Samantha Spiro is better cast than Jaime Winston.

ineed it is same story but I don't recall recall her having a bad relationship with her father. It was was years ago I read it though. It is a bloody good read. Highly recommend..

I stumbled across this half way through and thought the older Babs was really Barbara Windsor. I wondered when she'd so much work done that she no longer looked like Barbara anymore and it's only now I've come on here I realise the older one is someone else!

Agree that Jaime Winstone is rubbish.
