Just seen a link to Heart FM radio website where Jayne Torvill has confirmed that DOI will return to TV. No further details.
I'm so excited, I loved this show!

I an super excited, it was the only show of that type I really loved and have missed it since it was axed. Can't wait!!

I loved it. I even went to the live tour for my birthday one year

Yaaayyy i really miss it on a winter Sunday night.

I hope it will be this year. Dh can either develop a love or at least a vague interest in ice skating or be banished to the dining room or upstairs to the loft and watch something on his laptop lol

I was watching the recent Figure Skating World Championships & the commentators were talking about how the majority of international level British skaters were inspired to start skating after watching DOI. Impressive for a TV show really!
