What else can I get my Tom Hardy fix from?...

...but he has to have a beard 😁

Seriously having withdrawal symptoms from Taboo and I can't be the only one. Ladies? 😭

I couldn't get on with Peaky Blinders. I've watched the Bedtime Stories.

Don't you think 40-something women with a silly crush are just the worst losers, like, ever?! 😉

Watch Locke. It's only him in the film and nobody else, so no distractions. Good looking bloke but I don't understand the big fuss about him. I wouldn't mind spending a night of passion with him if he begged me though Grin
Great actor.

I don't get the Hardy love either, but I did really warm to him on an episode of "Paul O'Grady Love of Dogs" where he was in a kennel with a huge Bull Terrier (he was unable to rehome the dog himself but it was sweet to see the way her played and interacted. I guess it was TH being TH not a character)

Or "The Take" have you seen that? No beard but it has Sean Evans (bonus)

wineusuallyhelps · 14/04/2017 18:18

Ok great - hadn't heard of Locke or The Take. Thank you.

Might have seen that dog clip a few times...!

Locke is brilliant! Doesn't seem like it should/would be, the storyline is very "small" but it is mesmerising.

Tink06 · 16/04/2017 19:16

Wuthering heights too. Don't think he has a beard though.

Livness12 · 21/04/2017 22:25

Oh oh oh, I know!

Warrior.

2011 MMA film with Tom Hardy, Joel Edgerton and Nick Nolte, training for a massive MMA tournament. (This obviously involves much training and topless-ness).

I am biased because I love love love kickboxing etc, but it is actually a very very good (if somewhat cliched) film!

Ledehe · 24/04/2017 14:28

Have you watched Legend? He wears a cardigan for most of it but hes so big and burly in it....yummy

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 24/04/2017 21:16

You need to try to find the TV series of Oliver Twist where he played Bill Sikes - in an interview, he said he based the character of James Delaney on Sikes.

It's quite old, 2005, but - Stuart, A Life Backwards - is really good. He plays a homeless alcoholic who agrees to have his life story documented by a writer, played by Benedict Cumberbatch. They are both excellent in it, and pretty much the only characters in it.

putdownyourphone · 24/04/2017 22:15

ITVs wuthering heights (a personal fave)
The take
Bronson
legend (double hardy)
There's a version of Oliver where he plays bill Sykes

You're welcome Grin

putdownyourphone · 24/04/2017 22:16

Locke

Ledehe · 24/04/2017 22:20

Sorry I meant Lawless not Legend

mrsw14 · 24/04/2017 22:27

Tinker Taylor Soldier Spy?

Also has Cumberbitch and Oldman. He doesn't have a beard though.

I would try Peaky again if I were you.

In the meantime this should give us all a good giggle

Oh he's a terrible Heathcliff!! A gorgeous one but a terrible one lol.

Lowdoorinthewal1 · 25/04/2017 21:43

Do yourself a favour and switch allegiance to Jonathan Rhys Myers? So much prettier, same 'take your clothes off' stare. Grin

drinkswineoutofamug · 30/04/2017 22:25

Tom hardy with a bad Russian accent in child 44.
Hell yeah!

PseudoBadger · 30/04/2017 22:27

He's in an advert at the moment but I can't remember what it's for

PseudoBadger · 30/04/2017 22:30

Just saw it again. Don't be jealous. It's for Sky Mobile. (Other mobiles are available)

harryhausen · 30/04/2017 22:32

Have you seen The Reverent (with Leonardo DeCaprio as well?). He's amazing in it, but it may 'cure' you. His character is such a bastard.

To be honest, I didn't 'get' Tom Hardy until Taboo and now he makes me go all funny - especially in those new adverts.
