Tom topper is a name for a person who has what you have but worse for instance, you have a cut on your arm they had a cut that got infected, then they had their arm amputated and their other arm etc. Or they know a family member who had it but 10x worse.

RT KM I have put the fitbit to the test. It measures one or two more steps when worn on my ankle than on the wrist. The test was carried out under controlled conditions i.e. I walked to and from my bath room from the side of my bed. The extra step or two while on my ankle is probably where I stuck my leg out to read the display.

I have also discovered that my right ankle is wider than my left! Fitbit wouldn't do up on the right, but fine on the left.

And yes to whoever said that gobby looked like she needed to pee. Ridiculous storyline. I've said already, but it is.

Well todays was a bit rubbish. All the hospitals round here outsource the catering, and Mrs T was only suggesting another outside caterer absolute bollocks even if every Consultant in the hospital said the food was crap they wouldn't ditch long term contracts.
Val's age is difficult to guess, the grey hair ages her.

I was sad and even googled the actresses age, but couldn't find it. I estimate late 40s.

My mum went completely grey aged 22 years, back in the 1950s, but dyed it brown for many years

Perhaps she was like that, I like her grey hair but think she is deffo in 40s

Just watched now. I thought NHS contracts had to go out to tender, no way would that happen just like that.

I also thought Val was about 50, she actually looks younger with grey hair thsn when it was black though.

I haven't watched today's yet. Was out taking the dog to the groomers. Unfortunately, due to his liking for burying things, getting stuck in bushes and dislike of being brushed, my poor schnauzer now looks more like a jack Russell.
I then went voting for the mayor, red, the DDS had the day off because their school is a polling station. Dd1 went in for a few hours for SATS stuff( but i don't think they were doing much work).

No idea how old Val is, but the actresses Twitter name is Moylie69, ( which suggests that might be the year she was born) and makes her 48/49?
