Jump aboard for a fab road trip with Emma & Zara. I'd much rather go on one with Al.

Ruhma would age anyone.

redshoeblueshoe · 26/04/2017 14:10

Ooh I fancy pasta for tea now Grin

Raahh · 26/04/2017 14:10

Have they got neighbours?- her pounding up and down the stairs would piss me off.

redshoeblueshoe · 26/04/2017 14:11

Well Sid's found his vocation

Raahh · 26/04/2017 14:11

Sid couldn't cope with one old person dying. he wouldn't cope with a multiple car pile up.

redshoeblueshoe · 26/04/2017 14:11

Or not Sad

Raahh · 26/04/2017 14:14

It might toughen him up. Make him immune to the trauma. Or something.

blamethecat · 26/04/2017 14:18

10k steps isnt all that far if you go for a walk at lunch and walk home , unless you live next door!
6tl should shut up, poor sod was all enthusiastic about the job he'd be shit at. He'd be better off somewhere like an drop in centre for lonely old people where he can waffle on at them all day.

Raahh · 26/04/2017 14:30

blame i was thinking that, about the steps. I do pretty much nothing except mn not much apart from walk the dog , shopping and walking the dc to school (from the car) , and I easily manage over 10,000 steps . I only have very little legs. Grin

I think Sid would be perfect at nattering to old ladies. They would knit him woolly socks, and feed him custard creams.

Re-assuring people at an accident scene- bloody hell, no, they'd all be dead from boredom before he stopped wittering and got to the point Grin. He realises it is Doctors, and not Casualty ? Grin

Raahh · 26/04/2017 14:34

Oh, I've just read an article on the BBC where a woman's fitbit exploded on her arm.

wouldn't it be really terrible if that happened to Ruhma? Grin

toldmywrath · 26/04/2017 14:36

I, too never realised that Sid had been absent. But I like the moustache, makes him look slightly older.

Yep there goes Emma sucking all the joy out again. Miserable old bag.

OP posts:
toldmywrath · 26/04/2017 14:39

Ruhma it's a fitbit, not a step buddy. It's quite easy to do 10k steps if you're in a job that involves moving around. I'd have thought that the St Phil's gig would involve loads of walking, if only just from the car park.

OP posts:
toldmywrath · 26/04/2017 14:42

I did 15k steps yesterday, it included walking from where I parked to the hospital and walking to the ward. Plus my person I was visiting decided they needed stuff. More stairs and steps to the shops.

I know it is silly question but why don't you put them round your ankles not wrists HmmHmmHmm

Cos walking involves legs so much easier to register

blamethecat · 26/04/2017 17:06

Hey maybe Sid could work as an anaesthetist in emergency situations ? just chat for a bit and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Far cheaper and more reliable than drugs.

redshoeblueshoe · 26/04/2017 21:06

kanga - I bet its because everyone would think they were on a tag
blame - he could save the NHS millions Grin

RTKM007 · 26/04/2017 21:12

GrinGrinGrin

RTKM007 · 26/04/2017 21:14

I guess so but don't see the point of the wrist bands surely you could just cheat by shaking your wrist

If you don't swing you arms while walking then how does it register?

AnneEyhtMeyer · 26/04/2017 21:29

Oh God. Sanctimonious Ruhma with her sanctimonious step counting.

I find myself doing other things while not really watching now. The truck is loooooooonnnnnggggg overdue.

toldmywrath · 26/04/2017 22:25

I've wondered how they work when your arms aren't swinging as well. They do work, but sometimes inaccuracies creep in. Say if you're swinging your arms, but standing still. Sometimes I manage 10 or more steps when I'm driving!

Anne I've no idea what Heston gets from his relationship. Opera must be awful to listen to without having clompy mare marching up and down. Grin
