Can't believe I just watched them evict a family with a 2yr old child on a life support machine. Made me feel sick

They were evicted because the parents didn't pay their rent.
Carers 24/7 yet the father gave up work.
They used their child's illness as an excuse, that's what made me feel sick.

And their council house was ready 2 days later.

I can understand a father wanting to reduce his hours to part time to spend more time with his kid if it was terminal, or significantly degenerative. But then the mother also takes up work to make up for it. It's not an excuse to not pay rent.

Brand new episode tonight. I did laugh when they trotted out the old 'prove it we need receipts' and she goes and gets them.

Shocking behaviour tonight.
The mum with the receipts lost my sympathy the moment she started throwing them about.
It just amazes me how angry people get when they're expected to pay their debts.
Missed Paul and Steve, not the same without them.

Why did she bother to find the receipts if she wasn't even going to let them look?!

I missed them too BrownJenkins, they're definitely in this series though, I saw them filming in a shop near me last month!

The whole idea of the program sounds a terrible one to me. I haven't watched it of course, I think the catchy title would put me off.
