Netflix / Amazon prime recommendations please!

I'm after some new shows as DP is doing a course so I have loads of evenings watching tv solo at the moment, plus will be on mat leave soon!

I have loved:
Good Wife (best show ever)
The Americans (2nd best)
Silk
Happy Valley
Breaking Bad
Narcos
Jessica Jones
Luke Cage, Daredevil
Making a Murderer
Spooks
House of Cards
Scandal
Revenge
Luther (though it's too scary to watch solo)

Other genres I've really enjoyed Arrested Development and Parks and Recreations, not so keen on Community. Gave up on Hannibal after it gave me nightmares

I love FBI, spies, courtrooms.

I thought OITNB was really overrated and boring (sorry!)

I thought Suits was absolute male machismo bullshit awful! A horribly pale imitation of Good Wife

What else might I like?!??! Doesn't have to be court or spy related.

I can't bring myself to watch Crown as dislike the royal family intensely

If you haven't already watched it, peaky blinders is fab. Stranger Things is good too, especially if you remember the 80s. And I liked grace and Frankie.

I tried 1 episode of Stranger Things and DP loved it but I found it a bit much - pregnant with a 3 yr old DD, and clearly way oversensitive) so finding anything about kids a bit much at the moment

Any more suggestions???

Outlander on Amazon is good, I am watching S2 now. Also The Crown, The Last Kingdom on netflix (S2 about to start on bbc2).

Also love The Originals on netflix. Didn't get on with The Good Wife but many pepole do.

DP and I started to watch The Last Man on Earth (Prime) last Sunday and absolutely love it. We'd watched all of Season 1 by Thursday! It's very funny.

I too, dislike the Royal Family but actually loved Crown. Kind of like a history lesson.

Nobel - Norwegian political/army thing.
Travelers - time travel adventure with Will outta Will&Grace
Cleverman - Aussie series which mixes gritty drama with Aboriginal dreamtime + made up 'hairies' subhuman stuff. Eh, ... an examination of identity, poverty, racism or somesuch. I loved it.
The Expanse - sci-fi. Again, poverty, class struggle - all in space. What's not to love?

Comedy:
Life in Pieces - on Prime.

Love - it's got her out of Community in it. Took getting into but worth persevering.
Still Game - if you are Scottish, that is.

Films:
Hunt for the Wilderpeople - New Zealand film, hard to describe.
Copenhagen - I watched purely to see the city itself but was pulled in. After I got over how much of a dick the protagonist was I started to enjoy it. Anyway, it was a film I thought about for some time afterwards. I've got my theory about it but I may be overthinking it.

Oh, yes Love is good. I think Gillian Jacobs is excellent in it.

I watched hunt for the wilderpeople last night, and enjoyed it.

I could talk all day about Copenhagen. I think my 15 year old self would get something different from me watching it now (especially having a soon to be teenage daughter). If that makes sense. But the city as a backdrop was beautiful.

Yes, BigDeskBob - the city back drop was beautiful. I really want to go there.

My theory is that we think all along that she is 'saving' him but actually, he 'saves' her. She reverts to being a child in the end. There's more to my thoughts but I don't want to post spoilers in case anyone does watch it after reading this thread.

And I've got a soon to be teenage daughter too.

I have watched last man on earth and enjoyed it lots too, though he's so unlikeable! I started watching The Good Place which has a similar vibe, must download the rest of that.
We recently saw Wilderpeople together and enjoyed that too.

I'm keen on scandi everything so will Def follow those leads. Only problem is DP will want to watch them too. He can do one
