Riverdale (Netflix) - is anyone watching?

I'm really enjoying this show. It's a sort of Twin Peaks lite. Are there any other fans?

Jason is a bit odd looking. I don't know if part of it is the slightly too orange dye they've used.
I'm looking forward to today's episode, apparently we find out why Jughead's homeless and where he's been living.

Me! I love it! I spent my childhood reading the comics so it's all very exciting.
DH is very much a redhead and he gets the rage over all the fake red hair. It's funny to watch.

I'm watching it with half an eye while doing household chores. It's entertaining enough but I don't think any of the boys are particularly gorgeous and I doubt 16 year old me would either.

It is utter tripe, but I'm really enjoying it.

However, if you want teenage noir, you can't beat Veronica Mars...

Utter tripe but I'm loving it. I read the comics growing up so seeing the dark version is great fun. I would have seriously fancied Jughead (would take his dad these days) but all the rest are meh.

Oh yes, 15 year old me would have loved Jughead...Luke Perry's looking ok though and it's nice to see Skeet Ulrich again.

I'm not convinced about it. Archie is an incredibly annoying central character. I do like the supportive friendship between Veronica and Betty. As a pp says, it's no season one Veronica Mars, however much it wants to be.

I am, I love it! Im also a secret addict of Pretty Little Liars and Gossip Girls - the three shows are so alike it's weird.

I've enjoyed it but don't like guitar boy or understand the reaction to him shagging his teacher.

Archie is a bit underwritten. One of the complaints I've read is that Betty, Jughead and Veronica all have much more serious plot lines while Archie's main storyline has been balancing two extracurricular activities, while an actual serious story of being sexually abused by a teacher was settled very quickly.

I m really into it now. Archie is hot, but Jughead is my favourite. It's very... 'sexy'. But I like the fact they talk about feminism and being a friend to each other. I think Molly Wingwald is going to be in it.

I'm completely hooked. Unfortunately something modem-y has decided that we have all moved to the US, and Riverdale isn't available on Netflix over there. So I haven't seen the two most recent episodes.

I've tried resetting everything, but still can't move myself back to Ireland, which is a bit of a bitch.

I'm really enjoying it. Was a bit shocked when I realised how young they are all supposed to be though.

Yay. And my router has returned from its imaginary holiday to the US, so I've caught up on the Riverdale episodes that I missed.

All of the mothers seem to be evil to varying degrees which I find annoying.

Something about the show feels off to me - I like watching it, but something seems sub-par and I can't work out what - the direction, the editing, the script, the general pacing... Some scenes look so unnatural. Jughead will keep me watching though.
