Hmmmm.... DH and I find her soooo irritating and self-righteous but we get the feeling she is one of those characters you're supposed to like because she is so feisty-yet-caring. We were hooting with laughter when she called Andrew Treneman 'pompous'.
Is it just us?

Oh good idea Hattiecat - I hadn't thought of that, but he does look a bit like Colin Firth, doesn't he? She is a bit like Elizabeth Bennett but without the wit. Yes, I bet that's what the programme makers were thinking.
I am sure they will get together a bit more but it will probably be an on-off thing for as long as they can drag it out....

Angela Griffin seems to play the same type of character in every programme she has ever been in.
