Have just asked my fount of all knowledge (my DH) and it is definitely Chigley and I am very sad as we don't have sky so won't be able to watch Trumpton

and at the end of one of them, they used to go and watch people dancing in the town square at the end of every episode....oh and which one started, 'Here is a box, a musical box..'
