Thought Bowie's son was lovely , very nice words.
Robbie is a knob.

Night peeps

Leggit · 22/02/2017 21:56

he was on a doc on radio 4 -a few months ago

DevelopingDetritus · 22/02/2017 21:56

oow, nothing like a good old moan. Done. Fin.

Raahh · 22/02/2017 21:56

That was bizarre.

It just ended.

I thought maybe Little Mix were the semi clad dancerConfused

The last time it was truly that shit was when Blur won the life time achievement award- another band with a lead singer who, writer or not, cannot sing live at all.

jhjhj · 22/02/2017 22:00

Oh Raah, you've gone too far now - Blur are just amazing!

PovertyJetset · 22/02/2017 22:01

leggit no it was definitely 2016.... in off to check now.

dailystuck71 · 22/02/2017 22:01

Robbie is still on! Over on ITV 2.

PovertyJetset · 22/02/2017 22:03

It wasn't mastertapez it was something else.

Leggit · 22/02/2017 22:03

no it was definitely 2016.... in off to check now. 5 years ago. When Candy was released.

ShoutOutToMyEx · 22/02/2017 22:04

Still could be worse. It could be Angels.

I'd rather hear Angels than his latest rubbish! I wish he'd just give up and realise that all people want him to do is lead a drunken singalong.

OliviaStabler · 22/02/2017 22:07

Chris Martin trying to sing A Different Corner was bad enough but Robbie bloody Williams Hmm

PovertyJetset · 22/02/2017 22:08

leggit I'm floored! Where has the time gone????

CoolCarrie · 22/02/2017 22:09

My dad was a chauffeur and drove loads of people over the years, some famous ones, his favourite was Bridget Bardo. Noel was quiet, polite and a good tipper! Nothing roll and roll about him that day. Some others were a handful...!

enthusiasmcurbed · 22/02/2017 22:09

I am an old gimmer, but what a boring load of old wank. Chris can't sing Martin. Robbie club singer Williams and a number of utter non entities. Ugh.

CoolCarrie · 22/02/2017 22:11

I think Robbie wants to do a Bond theme next, that would be a joke, he does think he is Bond

MargotLovedTom1 · 22/02/2017 22:14

If Robbie Williams was playing in my back garden, I'd shut the curtains.

He's a giant prick.

Iamastonished · 22/02/2017 22:19

"This whole show is so flat - and that's nothing to do with the singing"

I agree. The whole thing felt like a non event. So many of the songs sounded the same. It's what I call hairdresser music as it is what they always have on in the background when I am having my hair done.

I missed the beginning, so for me the best two things were Rag n Bone Man winning, and Ed Sheeran singing.

pieceofpurplesky · 22/02/2017 22:22

To the PP - Skip Marley is Bob's grandson. He is really talented

CoolCarrie · 22/02/2017 22:24

Thank you pieceofpurplesky! Like your username.

pieceofpurplesky · 22/02/2017 22:46

A very 90s name Carrie

Chirrup5 · 22/02/2017 22:52

Chris Martin singing the George tribute = tragic.
Robbie closing the show = Enjoyable

Nationcreationbusstation · 23/02/2017 06:44

Oh my god... i just had to come on to say that the only way Ed Sheeran could be described as a genius is when talking about his ability to write pop songs (even in that regard I don't think he is one). To compare him to David Bowie, Prince or Michael Jackson who between them came out with some of the most beautiful/haunting/epic/iconic songs of the 20th century, were all innovative and broke the mould....... it's both hilarious and depressing.

Iamastonished · 23/02/2017 07:12

Give him time Nation. He may well have the longevity and talent to be as well respected.

Let's face it he is so much better than so many of today's uniformly generic pop stars. At least he doesn't write "hairdresser music".

Crispbutty · 23/02/2017 08:36

I think everyone is entitled to their own opinion though. Music is a personal thing. I was never a fan of Michael Jackson. Lots of bowies stuff was amazing, but some earlier tracks weren't. I think Sheeran is exceptionally talented and has many years to go yet too. Certainly one of the best in today's business.

Susiesoap7 · 23/02/2017 11:27

Ed Sheehan gives me the creeps, don't know why
