I have never known a family of 3 grown men whose mother still interferes with their lives to such an extent - and they let her get away with it time and time again. At least Pete showed a bit of backbone tonight by threatening to move out.

Totally agree that the Vic and Adam story is tedious. I wish Moria had had a go at the spoiled brat last night in the Woolpack.

I liked Emma to start with but she's definitely run her course now as a character.

Congrats to Emmerdale on winning the BAFTA. They deserve it for last year. Hopefully it'll give them a bit of incentive to improve the mess they've made the last few months! I was glad Kate Oates went up on stage with them, it was all down to her IMO.

Yep totally agree with you JaneJeffer, I was delighted they won, and it might just give them the kick they need to get back to where it was, because it really is the best, and when they do it well they blow the others right out of the water.

Are they going to split up Carly and Marlon now with Aiden Turner Lite? I hate those cringey scenes where someone is practising their proposal and then keeps looking at the ring...yawn.

I hope they don't JaneJ, not that I particularly give a hoot about Marlon but I couldn't bare the grieving face from him again, Trisha, Donna, Rhona, Laurel, Donna again and I'm sure I've missed a couple of others in between.

So many unappealing couples at the moment - Jai and Nell, Marlon and Carly, Vic and Adam, Rakesh and Priya. I like Megan and Frank but they don't get much screentime. Michael Praed is ageing really well, I think.

I am just SO angered about the Jai and Nell storyline, it's lazy and crap. Her whiny voice gets on my nerves. Also agree with Right about the Dan thing - GROW A PAIR!

Yes, I agree about Michael Praed!. Never really "got it" when he was younger with long hair, (don't like long hair on men) now, I was only thinking the other day how sexy he is looking

Nell and Jai just make me cringe, Megan gets on my nerves and those stupid boys on the bikes, especially the one with the stupid accent always skulking around gives me pure rage!! I'm glad Rhona has gone to rehab, but I hope she tells Marlon and Paddy so they know why she started taking the painkillers, and I hope she tells the police it was Pierce.

It's making me very irritable these days with all the crappy storylines and annoying characters. I'm not enjoying watching it but I know I'll never be able to stop! Can you get Emmerdale rehab?

It was such pantomime rubbish. Charity is up to the same old tricks time and time again. The whole thing was completely ridiculous. So many characters I couldn't care less about. What was the point of killing off Holly just to have the character reincarnated as awful Nell. As for the so-called lead thug, I've never heard an accent like that in my whole life!

Agree that Michael Praed is much better looking now than when he was younger.

It's complete Rebecca overload. She's in nearly every scene. With Lawrence and Ronnie, on the phone to Debbie, with Robert at Home Farm, in the cafe with Lawrence, she's heading off with Faith, she rocks up with Vic and Diane at The Woolpack and then she's off to see Ross. Just get on the fecking plane to Ibiza!
